So I have decided with my 5 x battlechest accounts to just continue dungeonbuddy and run mop randoms as a group. As far as gold income goes am I looking to auction anything specific other than mats obviously should I just vendor evertyhing else? This will be my first go at this and if I get banned, so be it. I only have a little less than 30.00 invested into this setup so it wont hurt too bad. My origional plan was to hit 90 and run the 10 day trial of WoD and farm herbs/ore but doing so on 5 accounts the mats would add up extremely fast. Also have no flight so it would be a pain i would imagine. Not only that but sticking at level 90 I would be very limited on the areas I could farm. So for now I will bot mop heroics just curious if I should keep an eye out for anything in particular or is most of my gph coming from vendor trash/pure gold drops?

Will do, was going to start them doing randoms yesturday before the patch dropped.. As soon as HB is back online, I plan on firing them up.
Since the bot has been back up I have been going strong. I am averaging about 500g per toon with all the loot going to my tank is pulling in an extra 700-800 an hour on vendor sales. So I am sitting right around 3.2k - 3.3k/hr so far. I am currently leveling my rogue the rest of the way to 90 so that i can open all the lockboxes i am getting as well which could potentially be around 100 a day. That could add an extra 5-7k per 24 hours making my total potential to be around 80k if all goes well performace wise. My team is running excellent so I might use singular instead of superbad for my tank routine so that I can set it to pull more for faster runs. Could def bump up the gph to 700 i think.
Dont think singular pulls more in Dungeons.
Have you geared them to 510 for that type of GPH?
I'm getting around 13000g/day running mop HC without gear. And around 15000 with gear. For me, I'm split, just takes too much effort to gear too many characters, might just leave them at 463 - maybe setup a HB relog station with different HB directory to run random scenario for the 519 box every day. Not sure though.
I completely forgot about the scenario thing tbh. They are all around 500 ilvl and never die, tank rarely takes any damage as it is. I know I should be pulling more gph than I am seems like the tank waits around alot for some reason. They have been running flawless for the last 8 hours though so thats a start.
Yeah they run almost completely flawlessly, sometimes they bug out in shadopan monestary, but thats about it.
Sadly the GPH is low compared to WoD accounts farming stuff to sell, they can wreck in around 1500-2000gph, whils this is just 500ish.
I would love to be able to run 5 bots farming wod but at 50.00/account that is pretty pricey for them to be banned. I dont mind the 10/account bc I can make that back within a week running heroics.

My teams are 550+, with a solid average of 950 gph per toon, at that point the problem is the script not pulling more packs, since most stuff is oneshotted. One of my teams got banned after 10 days, but it was only hours after i'd bought tokens on all of them, so not sure if it was the tokens, or just blizzard having a script that detected me after a week.
If you've got some gold an easy way to gear them is just to buy those pvp tokens that grant honor, don't think there's a level restriction on em. Just buy the pvp gear with it.

Actually these tokens are 10k per 1k honor and 1k conquest, so it's very, very expensive.
And where is this pvp gear located? My bot accounts are not tied to my main account so they have no way of getting to stormsheild as they are just battlechests on the ten day trial.

Ty for the location. I was thinking about it and it seems like it would cost about 100k to semi gear a toon which means about 500k for the whole team. Im not sure if an extra few hundred gold per hour would equate to much more profit considering it would take almost a week to recup the costs of the gear. Am I missing something here?

If is the keyword lol. I am running about 500gph pure gold not including vendor sales. I usualy end up with about 1k an hour in vendor sales so Im right around 3.5k/hr. That isnt horrible imo.

What's your class setup?
Guardian Druid, Disc Priest, Hunter, Warrior, Mage. I know not ideal but I hadnt even looked at the recommendations here before creating them.

Is there even such a thing as a recommended 5-man setup? No one seems to recommend the same 5-man team if you ask me..
My experience from 5-man botting is that I prefer melee classes as they tend to not get stuck and they don't end up being too far away from the encounter to get stuck in nonsense going on like the ice on the first boss in Scholomance, ranged classes have the tendency of stay too far from the tank so they get struck by mechanics like these. One could always set the follow distance down from the default which is 20 but then you will often see issues like they start moving mid-casting.
Others seems to recommend a team of classes that do not depend on the same gear / drops. But from my experience this does not really matter at all, if you are going to have a full team of bots going it will only be a matters of hours until you have farmed pretty much all the various drops you are able to grab from the various dungeons anyway. The only benefit of having a team that do not relay on the same kind of drops would be in the start when you might be somewhat under-geared and that's pretty much it.
And you always have the question of the optimal class combination in terms of buffs. I'm no geek so I don't really know what classes features the various buffs and what buffs works best with what classes so I have no clue what would be considered the optimal combination of classes here. All I know is that having a class with Bloodlust / Time Warps might be a good thing.
Currently I'm levelling myself a new team and it consist of;
- Protection Warrior (Tank)
- Holy Paladin (Healer)
- BeastMaster Hunter (DPS)
- BeastMaster Hunter (DPS)
- BeastMaster Hunter (DPS)
This might look like a awkward combination, going all out on the very same DPS class. But others have claimed that BeastMaster is the holy grail and works wonders so I wanted to give it a try. I guess the benefit of going BeastMaster is that they act as both ranged and melee due to their pets. And I suppose that if they get stuck the pet will still cause some damage to whatever target your group is currently facing. And if the tank goes down you have an entire army of pets being able to tank and hopefully survive the fight before everyone dies.
I choose Protection Warrior as tank due to Gladiator Stance. You will hopefully out-gear whatever you are going to farm so having additional DPS on the tank like what Protection Warrior is capable of with Gladiator Stance might give you a boost. Otherwise I would normally go with a tank that also features healing like Paladin or Druid (Bear).
For healer I choose Paladin as they are hard to kill.
