I've looked through some older posts regarding the Trinity combat system and this particular build. (ie. The Ranged Monk) Utilizing the Monkey King's Garb (Sunwuko's) Set and various items to maximize Wave of Light's damage. Everything I've read thus far hasn't been to promising unfortunately.
I've looked through some of the C# files to see if there's anyway to modify (myself) to make the Monk combat routine 'kite' instead of rush in head long. Every attempt thus far, has pretty much not worked or broken the bot to the point where DB doesn't even recognize Trinity anymore.
I'm curious if there's any (at all) attention going to be paid to this style of Monk play for the combat routine.? (As currently for Season 5 this is the set given to Monk players like myself.)
Looking over the code it looks like the possibility exists I just lack the C# knowledge to modify it enough to make it work, not to mention knowing where all the links go to for skill calls and such. I tried giving the Monk in the main combat routine a "Kite" value like the Wizard / DH / WD, but that didn't work to well.
I'm not saying this would be an 'easy' change, but if the possibility to do this was implemented and perhaps a check box added so those 'not' running a MKG (Sunwuko's) build aren't forced to run it, could toggle on/off a ranged style combat routine, with using Dashing Strike only as an avoidance tool or maneuverability tool instead of head first into enemies.
If you do decide to look into this option I'd be more than happy to beta test it and give any/all feedback.
