Lets say it does:
Total dmg = (0.2x(Number of Cyclones) + 0.45[Sweeping Winds damage] + 0.12[Submission])x1.12 = 0.224*(Number of cyclones) + 0.504 + 0.1344 = (in case of 1 tornado) = 0.8624
If you go Overawe:
Total dmg = (0.2x(Number of Cyclones) +0.45[Sweeping Winds damage])x1.24 = 0.248*(Numver of cyclones) + 0.558 = (in case of 1 tornado) = 0.806
0.8624 - 0.806 = 0.0564 = less than 1 cyclone
Meaning the moment we have 2 or more cyclones up -> Its better off to go with Overawe
And that's without calculating the additional damage we get due to 48% for 3 seconds.
If we go into that:
Lets say it does:
Total dmg = (0.2x(Number of Cyclones) + 0.45[Sweeping Winds damage] + 0.12[Submission])x1.24 = 0.248*(Number of cyclones) + 0.558 + 0.1488 = (in case of 1 tornado) = 0.9548
If you go Overawe:
Total dmg = (0.2x(Number of Cyclones) +0.45[Sweeping Winds damage])x1.48 = 0.296*(Numver of cyclones) + 0.666= (in case of 1 tornado) = 0.962
Meaning during the 3 second "extra buff", no matter how many cyclones you have up overawe is preferable.
Mind I will have to sit and think about this as the cyclones are not factored in as the spreadsheet is for bladestorm...
Will have to sit and run the #'s a few times myself but chances are your correct once you factor the clones.. Especially since i'm sitting at 51% cc & 2.12 APS...
Oh sorry my calculations are not correct.
Submission is 12% per SECOND and SweepingWinds is 20/45% PER TICK and they tick twice per second.
AND your calculations are wrong. its 12% WEAPON DAMAGE meaning going dual wield 50 attacks per second with a weapon with 500 dmg but sheet dps shows 100k will show ALOT LESS than 1h with 0.1attacks per second and 5k weapon dmg.
What matters is not SHEET DPS like you calculated but only WEAPON DAMAGE
