look basically they haven't done anything yet, the priox ban was just good old fashion, "lets find out how to detect this program and teach warden to ban people who are using it", and that's nothing we haven't seen before. the only new thing they started doing in the past year was server side statical monitoring looking for obvious "Bot Like" behavior. but as we have all seen a like a lot of things "Innocents" where getting caught up in the mix, so its not a perfect system. same thing when warden was introduced, there was one case where a bunch of linux users got banned because warden flipped out that it was being emulated in wine. that being said, the blue post im sure just means that they are adding battleground statistic monitoring to what data they are mining from users. i was watching this documentary called "Freakanomics" (its on netflix instant streaming) and in one of the segments they cover how statistics and in one particular case applying it to Win/Loss percentages during a bunch of matches and individual players where tracked and in sumo the hier rank you are the more you get paid, so what they where doing was lower ranked people would pay higher ranked people so if it came to it, the higher ranked person in the match would take the dive, so the lower ranked one wouldn't be demoted a rank, and it would be a win, win for both parties. (some of the matches where fixed) so when looking at the data people could see that happening. i wouldnt be supprised if blizzard is doing something similar. and if thats the case then time will tell just how good CC's are and the new BG bot really is.
