Mists of Pandaria Stockpile List

Old world mats are always good to sell at expansion release because people will be power leveling professions for new chars. I don't get this idea where it will be less when MoP comes out?
^this.
Try to keep everything you stockpile as raw as possible. Don't prospect to get gems, or mill, etc.. When MoP hit you will see what is in demand and you can cut, mill or do whatever you want and get the most profit of it.

considering i can fill up a guild bank in nearly a day, stockpiling isnt something im interested in, when i can make 5x what i will make with maxed out guild mat spaces, by just continuously selling all the way up to MoP. (last few days i will stockpile though, because even i cant resist)

I totaly agree with you Amplified, your thinking like me :D just at a higher skill lvl :D

you 2 special snowflakes just think your the only ones doing said thing right?

Theres shitloads of non-botters doing things like this, so prices in the end will stay the same.

Like prices of herbs atm, while everyone says they sky rocket, are the same of not lower atm on my realm aswell.

lots of people have lots and lots of lvl 1 guilds stuffed with all kinds of shit.

the moment you post this shit, someone else starts, that someone might be on your server giving you less profit in the end.

keep all for yourself if you really care.. if you talk at a higher skill lvl then <<<<----- that is ! , nothing else.

I have been stockpiling several things - some of which I am not farming.

Overall - the strategy is to stockpile items that will continue to sell at the same or relative value post MoP as they do now. With the changes taking place to unlimited dailies and the payouts on quests etc, there will be additional gold in the market which will drive inflation post release. Having an inventory of items which sell rapidly and remain in demand will be a great way to maintain a gold balance in front of that inflation wave.

There will be a bunch of Panda's in the system power leveling themselves and wanting to powerlevel professions.

In that I am stockpiling;
First is Embersilk Bags - Bagspace is going to be in huge demand, especially with all of the changes to cooking / materials and all the new incoming Panda's
raw materials that characters use for base profession power leveling - I either gather or buy when they are overly cheap
Leather - this tends to be a nice chokepoint for a lot of new LW's - my take is that it will increase in price
Glyphs - of course with all of the new Panda's they will want glyphs

I also always maintain an inventory of rare recipe's and xmog items. I have liquidated most of the cata / wolk transmog items that I don't think will stand the test of time. But there are a large number of early xmog items still in high demand. These demand prices between 5k-20k each.

What you listed have actually been selling higher for the past few months compared to cata herbs/ore. And no, the prices are not going to drop when MoP hits. If anything, they will be easier to sell at higher prices because of the flood of pandas/monks. I have a guild bank full of mats from each expansion just waiting to cash in.
