Im woundering what's the best stuff to farm for Mop and make aloot of gold. i have ben stockpileing.

Bars:
Saronite
Titanium
Cobbalt

Eternals:
Earth
Shadow
Air
Fire

Ench mats:
All cata and Wotlk mats

Volatiles:
Earth
Air
Fire
Water

Gems:
Just random Cata blue gems and some Wotlk gems

What am i missing, and what should i sell of so i dont lose money
 
If you didnt get rid of it by now you are already loosing money...
All these mats you posted will be outdated when MoP hits and people wont buy them anymore for a while. Maybe some prices go up but thats not guaranteed, in most cases they go down.
This weekend you have the perfect opportunity to sell stuff since no bots are working, AH is already out of stock or very low...prices went up and will rise a lot this weekend. So...

You best make sure you empty your bags n banks real fast! :) Probably your best bet on making anything....gotta have free space for all Mop mats! ^^^^^^^^^^^^^

Go to wow-professions.com and check the mats to powerlevel a profession. / Tailoring / leatherworking or whatever

farm those mats.... o wait.. no bot... well, do the shit by hand. Should have done that before tbh, at least i did.

when mop hits, lw will be in demand, and by the old ones coming back for mop, and new ones joining in, im betting on selling

powerleveling packages. So i sell f.e a complete 1-525 lw pack for 10 k or whatever.. you buy it all, follow the wow-professions list and your 525.

ready you are for mop to lvl further. try to buy those low lvl mats on ah, you spend double if not tripple easily. And we all know, wow gamers, are lazy!

This is actually not so bad :) Powerlevel packages for the lazy! Ill deffo try this one out :) +rep haha

ye I was laughing when I looked into our AH prices were high as fuck 90g for stormvine the week befor 20 or something like that.. and just 1 or 2 pages with a few herbs etc. the AH is really fucked without us.. ;)
 
Well reason i stockpile items, is beacuse people will levle monks, and all of them need proff. and since no1 will bother farming old mats, i could make a good chunk of money. Or am i wrong?

A tip: less saronite and more cobalt. And don't forget cloth, like netherweave/frostweave etc.
Otherwise it looks good, good luck!
 
well im holding on to the saronite cause the prices jump up sometimes, but if they just stay low, i just transmute them into titanbars and sell them off for ca 50g each
 
i dont know what people r thinking (saying you should sell now bc your stockpile wont be worth as much). most everything he listed will be selling for more than it is currently. and in some cases double or more than double. you have to realize. alot of people r gonna be coming back, alot of people will be leveling new toons and new monks. so old mats, specificly TBC and WOTLK mats will be inflated. Cata mats will go up in price prolly a couple months after release of MoP, so hold onto those for awhile (wait until peoples supply from Cata is gone).

the reason you stockpile is to hedge against inflation. everything will be worth more in mop, and everyone will have more to spend. so your liquid gold will be worth less than it is currently. but if you stockpile your gold into items instead, your net worth will increase with the inflation (not decrease). the trick is to diversity. i have went, leveling bars for blacksmithing and engineering, uncommon gems for jc, herbs for alch and inscrp, dusts for enchanting and lastly, some rare pets and mounts (these are my high value items I used to get rid of my liquid gold).
 
Why stockpile anything at all? Your botting anyway and making way more gold than anyone else. I know the bot isnt up right now but once t is in MoP you will be making tons of gold unless your totally oblivious and dont know what your doing.
 
bc y sell it now? when it will be worth more, even double the price in like a month. i just saved everything i botted. and didnt sell it. i always want to make more gold, and as much as i can. i mean, why do the ore shuffle if you are a botter? u can just sell raw mats and by shear quantity make more gold than others. because I want to make as much gold as I can from the mats I'm farming.

Sell out on everything, it's the best thing to do. Everything for MoP will be so different that these things will be nearly worthless once it comes out, so sell now.
 
I was stocking a few things up, but I agree that getting rid of most things is the way to to. I'm keeping a load of bags that I had saved up but they're hardly worth anything, will just be easier to shift when people come back to WoW. Not worth keeping herbs and ores. Yes Pandas will need them to level thier professions but lots will take up herbs and mining and gather thier own as they level.

My goal will be to get as much Panda mats as quick as possible, I was thinking of going for a realm first class 90 on my main account but am thinking of putting this off to gather mats instead. Not sure what to do yet.
 
If you tell everyone what you're stockpiling and everyone is stockpiling the same things, doesn't that defeat the purpose of stockpiling?
 
Old world mats are always good to sell at expansion release because people will be power leveling professions for new chars. I don't get this idea where it will be less when MoP comes out?
