Lol, not even close to that amount to get started, unless you're going for 23+ goldfind and perfect stats on all items.

Personally I paid 700k for my boots alone (but they are insane stats wise, 140 dex 110 vit 12 movespeed 17 goldfind and 7 pickuprange) but the rest of the pieces are all relatively cheap. Max 250k per piece, 14-15% gold find rings and stuff like that. Currently running with 260 gold find, 39 range (I use nopickup for safer runs so range is vital to me), 12,5k DPS and 16k HP. And this night I did 338k / hour over 12 hours straight like this. Also got 220ish allres (which is enough not to ever die from multiple molten blasts or similar, sometimes you'll get hit by 4 at the same time) and 19% Movespeed (+hot pursuit so usually 25) and my equip didn't cost much more then 2,5 - 3. Can easily get 25-28 pickup range and a 220ish GF for 1m with 12% movespeed on boots. No need at all to have +dex on all pieces, no need for vitality other then like +100 points.
