Minimizing issues in Windows 7

I'm about 2 days into using the software, so I believe this is my first time minimizing the actual HB window, usually I just leave it up and tab between programs but today I found after minimizing a notification is placed in the system tray to be able to restore the program window by clicking the icon, but doing so does nothing to restore the window.

The program is still running and attached to my client and I have right click access to the system tray icon so I can start/stop/exit, but any attempt to bring back the primary window is just met with nothing happening.

This may have corrupted my original copy of the software as any attempts to load the client this morning would simply cause the program to auto minimize and would not give me access to the interface.

After creating a fresh copy of the program I was able to get the config window to stick around, so I'm not sure if something is being saved to the client's settings to cause it to do this.

I'm still playing around with it, and it doesn't seem like the forum has any related threads to this issue, so it's probably just me, but I thought I'd write something up about it.

Thanks for the wonderful program guys, kicking some serious ass here.
 
I'm still trying to isolate the issue, but it might have had something to do with killing the program from the system tray, forcing an exit there possibly. I'll post any new info I run into, but it seems not minimizing the program avoids the problem altogether, so I'll probably just keep from doing that in the future.
 
tried to right click on the icon?
 
Yeah, the system tray in the bottom right. When I minimize the client an icon for HB appears there. I can right click that icon and get a start/stop/exit menu to use. When minimizing it instructs you that you can left click the icon to get HB back in view, which doesn't happen for me.
 
Ive had it happen before but nothing on a regular basis. I just have always picked that as a good time to do a system reboot, something I don't do as often as I should.
 
Im using windows 7, when I minimize it disappears to the task bar. Are you trying to click on the icon that is showing straight away or do you use that little "^" thing to get to the icon? Coz I use that and then just double click the icon and have no probs with anything restoring at all
 
This version sucks for the minimise (this was a bug of nearly a year ago, it has been fixed for so long but is now back), once HB logs out and you login again it will just stay in the tray and not pop a window up EVER, no matter how many times you hit start/stop etc. You need to reboot your PC. This only happens if HB is open and logs out and you need to login again. If you shut HB between changing characters it behaves fine, it will only occur after HB has logged itself out and asks you to login again with the window still open.

Win7 64 bit is what I am using.

A little off topic here, but what vesion and type (32/64 bit) of windows was honorbuddy designed to work best on?
