Meshes

Are you wanting to create a mesh? or just use there's?

Also atm the bot is not up to date so wont be able to use right now.
But in future.

To create own mesh, go to Profile tab.
Open mesher. From there you can start to create own, open radar, load one already created.

If using there's. You just add the <mesh>zone</mesh> <recast>true</recast>
In your profile. While there mesh is in the meshes folder.

Any idea, how do i create my own mesh? press start and?? What are the rest of the function for?? like hotspot connect to nearest. In2fun care for a little tutorial ? :D
Really new to botting :X

Quick mesh how-to:

Have GW2 and GW2B running
Go to Settings tab > Choose your Routine
Go to General tab > Click Start button (DO NOT LOAD A PROFILE!)
Go to Profile Tab > Click Open Mesher button
Click Start button > Click Radar button
Run around and make AT LEAST two rows of dots that connect (creating a "mesh" where the profile will run around inside of)
Click Stop button when finished
Click Save button > Save your mesh file (same folder as the profile file you will use, or in the "Meshes" folder)

I use window instead of window fullscreen on game. Leave an empty spot off to right. Move the radar there so I can watch it as walk around.
Create a path on where you plan to grind. Put hotspots, make sure inside mesh, of where you want to grind. Keep in mind it will attack mobs outside of mesh, but if they contain loot will not know how to get it since not in mesh area. Or if does go get loot. Will not know how to get back.

Also after saved created mesh. You can always go back to it, load and fine tune. If wanting to delete mesh spots or connect. Best to do it while stopped, not running. (the mesher)

Sounds good... Will give it a shot... I guess custom mesh are better than the meshes given to download from the website?
Thanks alot

The advantage of custom meshes is you have more control on where bot can go. For example if wanting to grind in a horseshoe area. You make the mesh in the exact shape, size area you want.
Set just 2 hotspots. 1 at each end. The bot will go back and forth just in that area.
Downside is if follows mob, needs to loot outside of your mesh area then will get stuck.
Another downside is once bot is fully released they will do away with user created mesh ability, and go to nav server like other bots. So all your time effort making meshes and profiles will not work anymore.
My advice is just work with there meshes, create profiles around them. So you know your profile will work in future.

Dont forget to include path to waypoint, and vendor included in your profile.

To see examples of profile and mesh created together. Look in my SVN, under the older version folders. Go to that area, load mesh in mesher, open radar.

Just for brevity; the bot uses the Meshes folder by default, and if it can't find the mesh specified in the profile in that directory, it'll try the directory the profile is located in. Either will work fine.

With Recast meshes, it's different; this post on our wiki explains all of it: Navigation - Gw2Buddy Wiki
