Mesh not showing up while creating profile

Hey guys, sorry if i'm doing something wrong, but im following the 10 easy steps to make a profile, and I cannot get the mesh to show up on my game. I've restarted it, tried a couple different combos, but pressing start and then render does not make the mesher appear.

Any help would be great, thanks.
 
Click mesher, load the appropriate mesh, make sure render is checked.
 
also, after creating one and loading it up, and clicking render, still nothing on my rift screen
 
This is all I have, even after messing with the mesher and reloading one, no more was added, this was all here when I launched the program:
