Mesh Fixes - Archive

As of right now I'm finally taking the time to get the phasing implemented. That should fix a lot of apparent mesh problems where the bot is running into things like they're invisible to it.
Even though I haven't been fixing a lot of mesh problems lately, please keep the reports coming. Soon I will begin fixing them again, I've just been rather busy with school things lately.

Navigation error in arathi

Just saw my bot, doing unstuck moves, with out being actually stuck in anything. it got stuck In arathi Highlands, in stormgarde keep section. It stood in a House, and jumping, kept jumping, jumping and kept jumping, it were going to a Hotspot at the level under me.
Pictures included and Coords at 22,64

Stop using Gnomes to make the mesh, anything that sticks out above two foot am getting stuck on due to the pathing being so tight, maybe make it but corners a few yards further away?
 
I'm having a really hard time with Valiance Keep in Borean Tundra. No matter where I am in Valiance Keep the bot gets stuck. He runs into walls constantly and gets stuck all the time. Would appreciate it if you looked at it.

Not sure if this is the right place for this.

Am in Icecrown at the Shadow Vault, get the following when starting HB:


Downloaded tilemap Kalimdor
Changed tilemap to Kalimdor, Tiled: True
Received error code from mesh server when attempting to get tile map for Northrend: Session is invalid!
Failed to get tile map for Northrend!


The bot stops, nothing happens. :/

I have a Problem with looting.

He kills a Mob, runs 5 yrd away and run back to loot on every Mob.
 
1. when trying to turn in the quest "More than expected" the bot won't run into vol'jin's hut.
instead it walks around the building and gets stuck at the position the screenshot show. (its standing around)
I even added a RunTo behavior inside the hut, but it seems that HB won't enter the hut at all

ok.. i don't quite know if i need to create a thread or not but here is my problem..
i am currently in felwood and i was trying to navigate to Hyjal (using AB, ground mount mode)
and the log message kept popping
Flight time: 00:05:16
Run Time: 00:00:01
Difference: 315
the nav log said it could not generate a path..

this is from the nav log

A persisting problem I've been having is with the stakes that jut out on the corners of the horde area in Warsong Gulch, my nightelf smashes his face right into them every time, but even my gnome would get caught on them if she was mounted. Not sure what the deal is, seems like it has been this way for as long as I've owned honorbuddy.
I'm often baffled by the routes the bot takes, running millimeters from the edges of bottomless pits, running over terrain it barely can walk up, and sometimes gets caught. I sometimes feel like the mesh was made by someone who was trying to show off how slick the bot can be. This became a real issue in Eye of the Storm, when my character could navigate one part if it was mounted, but not if it wasn't, and then immediately would attempt to run off the cliff in the center onto the lower path to the flag, only to miss and jump into the ravine. Watched him successfully navigate it twice and then proceed to jump to his death twice. Not sure why running down the middle of the path isn't acceptable.

Thanks for the hard work, I might sound bitchy but I love this bot.

On screen shot you can see that the path HB took me was around the outside and directly toward the objective. HB needed to take me to where the little silver arrow is towards the middle of the screen.

There is no other non-human way to get up onto the island other than flying. I am not sure if it is a mesh or pathing algo issue. Where it initial took me is right to the ogj area in the water and ran me against a wall that was impassable.

Actually there are lots of human ways to get on the island. You were allowed to fly in WOTLK at 77 and that is a lowbie 70-72 quest there. People had to do it without flying.
So no your asumption is wrong and the bot took the right way.
 
Having a problem in Tol Barad, I have a great Alliance dailies quest profile done, However it always tries to run through the horde camp and gets owned, tryed blaklisting it to no avail.

and could not load file or assembly tripper.recastmanaged.........
(exception from HRESULT: 0x8013141A)
what i need to do?

MaiN - A lot of people are having (or were having issues) with the bot getting stuck in Un'Goro Graveyard (if they died on the west side of Un'Goro)

The profile got stuck when he died in Un'goro Crater. It spawned on The Shaper's Terrace graveyard and HonorBuddy was unable to find a way back.
I changed to the TopK at 49 because the Un'goro ghost paths aren't working.. I'm at 59 now and no stucks at all (in winterspring) apart from dying once and not finding it's way to body even though the body was like 10 feet away from the spirit healer.
