my mage never casts scorch you must have fire talents for it? as i am frost and enabled in the cc config

every setting in each section. IE, FROST ARCANE and FIRE, is what it casts while in that spec. if scorch isnt in the frost tab, it wont cast it.

Im using your CC and well i've just hit level 11, and i was planning to spec frost, so i dumped my talent point into IMP FB, unticked all the fire/arcane options, and my mage just stands there smashing stuff with the staff.
With the CC open, i tick arcane moves and it starts casting AM, he just wont use full frost spells =/

have you restarted honorbuddy/wow since you leveled? the CC needs to recheck your talents to put you in the right place.
 
Would be nice if you added a range for the pulls in the config, or just read the value that's set in the Honorbuddy General Settings tab. I like long rage pulls as frost because of the slows and the time it takes for mobs to reach me so I changed the pull distance from 29 to 35 in the files after i picked up Arctic Reach and I bet people would like that for fire and arcane also.

Other than that, this profile is really awesome and handles adds really well!
 
Handles adds really well? Er... not really. 1 on 1 is fine, but when multiple adds come in to play, the cc is in panic! It tries to sheep an add, only to cast a frostbolt next... ON the sheeped add. Very smart. :) Then it's in panic again, sheeps again, tries to Frost Nova and walk back a bit... casts Evocation for 1 sec, then tries a Frostbolt again, then... death! No, 1 on 1 is fine; adds is terrible :)
/edit: don't know if it's a cc thing or HB 1.9.6.1: It only loots mobs it pulled herself. When attacked while walking by, it does not loot that mob.
 
So I've been trying to use this thing in BGs and the majority of the time it will just stand there and turn towards a target but not cast a single spell and does an average of like 3 frostbolts per wsg, I've been using this for grinding and it works perfectly fine but in BGs it basically does nothing but buff and pull out the water elemental.
 
Regarding to pull distance, I see many people complaining about that. I've tried different distances in the "General Settings" tab, but Mephiles keeps pulling mobs at 10yds moreless. Is there any solution to that? Otherwise, I'll stop using it since a mage pulling from 10yds it's not my idea of survivability (^_?' )

I have had same problem with this CC. Also my mage does not loot or skin.
Im also missing a "Use Blink" option.
And how is PVP for this cc? I tried it out, and watched it do nothing :) am i doing something wrong? :)
 
When I use it, it tries to apply both dampen magic and amplify magic just using up all of its mana... :/ It seems smarter than the 'One' CC but this is kinda funny watching.

Well I didn't know you could configure it i'm stupid. Thanks love the profile haha.
 
You've got to uncheck one of those two options, Poison Ivy. They're both checked by default on the config.

(happened the same to me, somehow confusing at the beginning xD)

there isnt a "use blink" in the config.
 
Thats what im saying, im saying that im missing it. i would like for it to be there if possible :P :)

there wont be, at this point, this CC might get one more update for fixes before i go and start working on a replacement for Cataclysm.

Im just trying this again, as I was having problems with the default one due to Frost mage attacking Water Elementals which are immune to Frost Spells. I need to kill these elementals in 2 different parts or Mordds Breakneck profile, I was informed that the CC should check to see if the mobile was immune and change tactic.

I cant see that meph does this, so I was wondering if you could implement this in the future, as it causes a lot of deaths if left unattended.

i have some problems with the new CC.
sometimes my 71 Frostmage dont use much of the frostspells and start to do rdm stuff like:
Stop and dismount...
Casting Shoot
Casting Mana Shield
Sending Pet to Attack
Casting Icy Veins
Casting Frostbolt
Casting Shoot
Casting Mana Shield
Casting Icy Veins
Casting Frostbolt
Casting Shoot
Casting Mana Shield

no Ice Barrier, Ice Lance at all.. also he does a 2-3sec break between the spells... realy sucks :/
he constantly dies on adds then will i notice that -_-
sometimes i can fix it with restarting HB...

let me know if u need some more information to fix it, or is it my fault?
