Frost seem to work 2.
No more Icelance spam anyway.

Not tested for long since arcane is so much better grinding with some gear.
 
I've caught it conjuring water after pulling but before killing.. so, it'll cast arcane blast, conjure water, then go into the arcane kill routine... kinda silly.

It also doesn't always use missles on barrage, either.. seems to skip it if it's already in the process of casting something else, and casts another arcane blast right after instead of missiles.
 
oh, that last post about conjuring water and not casting missiles was from me.

also, I've noticed that it will usually abort evocation to eat and drink... I don't know if that's because of how I have the percentages in the config... but it's annoying, too. :)
 
don't know what you did with the frost mage code, but on my lvl77 mage it is now doing roughly 300dmg per sec less then the stock mage cc.
(925dps stock mage cc vs 605dps mephiles cc)
 
62er Frost mage here. First of all thx for this awesome piece of CC.

All in all works great but sometimes (on a quite regular basis) my mage will deselect it's target and just idle next to the waterelemental waiting the elemental getting pwned by the mob.
Happens more often when there are a few mobs that i aggroed.

Maybe just smth i'm missing :s
 
Check your log. It could be a bug with the latest version of HB.
 
Can you change the versions on the splash screen window next time :)

I am going back to 2.7 and 1.9.5.5, 2.9 is as slow as a wet week when fighting for me with 1.9.5.7/8. My mage also runs closer to targets, not away from them, not good for a squishy :)

my lvl 24mage is in a bg the first time now. All it does is 1 frostbolt and then nothing till he dies. CC works fine in pve btw.
 
the problem could be that you dont really have many spells at level 24.. anyway.. grinding your way to level 80 is most efficient if you grind/quest from 1-60, then do mixed(grind/pvp) until level 80.. (except the 68-70 part maybe where grinding in northrend takes you to 70 rlly fast).. so just stick with grinding/questing for the moment..

No, it is running to targets, I pull with frostbolt or fireball, then it just runs straight towards to target I have hit, sometimes it runs through them, previous versions it would hit the target and wait for it to come to me all the time targeting it and dpssing it, was usually dead by the time it got close to me.

1.9.5.5 and 2.7 work like a charm, behavior I expect.

Im using the 2.9 with latest HB.

When it fights 1 mob and gets an add, it sheeps the mob with lowest healths, then fights the new add. Then after 5 secs or so, it frostsnova's, breaking the sheep witch have healed to 100 health while being sheeped. This has killed my mage several times :S

Otherwise I love the CC! :)

i like this..it works. but i notice it doesnt always use the same rotation...even when grinding the same spot and mobs for hours. once in awhile i see it do FB , FB , FN , back up , fireball , fireblast DEAD. which is what it should do everytime. Rarely gets hit , nukes the dick out of mobs and quickly. but now its only doing FB, Fblast , FB , Fblast , FB and using health potions cause its getting hit or dead. Nothing AT ALL has changed. Same profile, SAME level , same area , same mobs everything. I dont get it. All i have enable is fireball , frost nova and fireblast. it should do this all the time.

any advice ?

another thing is does for awhile, then goes back to normal pulling . is to pull with FB , then run to mob as mobs towards my toon , the proceeds to FB , fireblast until one of them is dead.
 
Still same problem in PvP, just cast one spell . . .

Another problem in PvE, i have pull distance 40, but still, the bot keep either walking straight to the mob or is at 40y distance then moves to target, to get to like 10y distance then starts casting/dpsing

Same for me, just keeps running towards my target, gets 10 yds away and starts fighting, not good for clothies :)
 
Code - I am having the same problem in PvP where it casts the opening spell then stops. I've noticed on the debug (output below) that once it casts the first spell it is spamming the debug screen with " Changed POI to: Type: None, Loc: <0, 0, 0> .... Activity: Combat.

So i'm sure the issue is right in that part the logic.... any ideas...
