Menu won't open sub-menus

I just installed Archebuddy after buying a new computer. When i run it, none of the Menu options does anything except 'Quit'. I try pressing 'Account Manager', 'Plugin Manager', etc. and none open the new windows.

The only message showing in the window is

7:22:59 PM: ArcheBuddy. Version 1.3
 
It says i have it all installed.

Do you have Avast, McAfee, Norton, or any other real-time script shield running?
If you do, try adding AB to the list of exceptions.
Sometimes they like to block certain features like menus.
