I get this all the time and HB just sits there (stays on) and doesnt do anything until it d/cs from afk, It will do this usually in the process of queueing for dungeons or joining/leaving them.
Really, all I have to do is press stop, then start again, and the problem is fixed, why cant the devs just make hb stop, and start again when it detects afk.............


Sometimes I think I got ripped on my purchase. Really, 100$ for a program, it should work, well.
 
Indeed, this bug has been here for way too long. IB would be nearly flawless if this simple bug was fixed.
 
its such a simple bug, with such dire consequences, I would have been 85 by now EASY if it weren't for this particular bug... I would have had 2 85's by now if it wasnt for all the other bugs. the fact that the devs cant come up with an asnwer for this simple bug just amazes me.
 
I'm guessing that when you hit a loading screen memory locations change or something similar anyways, which is why HB can't see your wow connection. Same thing as starting HB and then starting wow, it cant recognize it...Glider had the same issue..
 
lol and i thought i was alone having this.. Happen so often for me.. Really suck when you go like to work and one hour after you left this happens.. Like you said it should just restart itself when it detect afk.
 
This isn't a bug with HB, but a bug with IB. (Proof: set the bot to Combat Assist and let it run, then do all the zoning you want, you'll only see the message during actual loading screens. However, the bot will still fight, etc, just fine.)

Please read the IB thread and and maybe the dev comments that have been posted for the last few weeks. They all say the same thing. As Apoc just said above. I've been avoiding threads like this because until a Dev says something, ppl are like "whatever"

And HB is a 25 EUR program, which is 33-35$; Buddy Lifetime (3 sessions) is 80 EUR which is over $100

On a *****side note***** IB is free (and the Archaeology bot is free), you don't have to pay for it. Yes, Raphus does get $ to make it, but it's not an additional fee for the arch/IB bots itself.

I just want to make sure that you know the facts.

Back when I bought Buddy Lifetime over a year ago, HB1 was very simple and was still worth it.

You had to change your own profiles
You had to train yourself
You had to skill point yourself
You had to walk very close to your mesh (and load a profile that had a mesh attached)

You guys are very lucky that the HB bot single doesn't cost $100 by itself. But if it did, it would still be worth it

HB1 was more stable. By far.

I wish you'd stop pretending the bugs aren't out of control. And this "Me not in game or me = null" bug happens with the PvP bot too, so I don't see how this is JUST an IB bug.

Fact is, he paid $100 for this program. I don't care if he had to or not - he did, and he deserves $100 worth of quality. Maybe you don't appreciate the value of a dollar, and if that's the case, I feel sorry for you. But in the real world, money demands quality, and that's why a lot of people here are feeling let down lately.
 
Yeah i can never have this bot online on the nights, Everytime i wake up to check the results i've been dc'ed

I have paid 400 EUR for this program, just a little btw. I never said it was bug free. Yes, HB1 was stable, and HB2 is stable for grinding. the PvP bot was generally stable but used a simple route, too. Too many ppl are QQ'ing because they see a million bots going int he same direction so the devs are having to fix this issue

Then you need to hit up the bugtracker and let the devs know the issue
 
I'm pretty damn sure most who have complained have gathered more gold than this bot cost.

I remember paying $150 a MONTH just to use GB... when it first came out.
 
i get the same error for the pvp bot. It seems it doesn't realize when the game ends. Would be nice to see a fix since this isnt a extra addon to the bot. And i don't want to hear i payed 400$ and blah blah blah i don't care just saying its not just IB that does it.
 
Its not an afk thing, its due to the loading screen. While that screen is up, your character isn't available. It would be nice if it polled regularly to see if you were available again instead of just stopping altogether though.

Tony, I do have about 400 latency which is more than normal.

That message is printed in our main pulse. If the message gets printed; the entire bot 'skips' a pulse until the check is passed. (This makes sure we don't let bots run during loading screens, and cause crashes)

If you want to monitor the same check we're doing, simply have a plugin create a new thread, and check the following;

if (StyxWoW.Me == null || !StyxWoW.IsInGame || !StyxWoW.Me.IsValid)

You'll see that it DOES NOT stay true all the time. It should only be true, while the checks fail. (Me being null, not being in game, or the 'Me' address being 0 in memory) - The only time any of these should *ever* fail, is during loading screens, or when you're not logged in game.
