Maybe it was only me.. but.. 72 hour Suspension

Correct I was only using Combat Ex. I was at my computer at all times. I play solo and do not play with any friends other than when im in Duty Finder. I've never chatted or mentioned anything of the sort about botting etc.

You have past posts on this forum about Fatebot, Fishbot, Gatherbot, etc, including one where you specifically mentioned getting stuck running into a gate in North Shroud....
You might only have been using Combat assist recently, but it takes time for disciplinary actions to go through the pipelines and they can always see your past actions.

Also, you actually posted a screenshot of your character, which often have hidden watermarks SE can peel away to identify your server and character info. I'm also going to take a wild stab and guess that your forum name here is similar to your SE account name, or your character ign.

Also, its not uncommon for botters to use other bots...The other popular bot that features a teleport hack has seen a drastic rise in ban/suspensions from this feature. Looks like SE finally getting off their ass and beating down people who have teleport hacked in dungeons,raids and the overworld at any time.

Stone gets spammed multiple times in a second, this is unhumanlike and detectable easily... Does this transmit packets when done this quickly?

Finally to add some logic into why only a 72 hour ban, not a perma ban. Square would ban people permanently and instantly if they had a solid 100% detection or proof, They do it for RMT already. The 72 hour suspension was likely done because they were 95% sure with the detection. You should try and contest those suspensions and really press them for what happened. A cheater might take this laying down, A non-cheater/customer would be furious.

Thanks for answering, I'm glad thats how you implemented this. However I'm slightly concerned for the speed of "keypresses" might still be unhuman, maybe another reason for the 72 hour suspend, thinking its out of game macros. (keyboards, autohotkey)

is it even safe to bot anymore i'm on day 2 of my 3 day suspension and i feel like if i even use this bot for the shortest amount of time i will get banned permanantly... any tips? Should i completely stop using fate bot and use mining bot or something

Don't ask the internet if you should risk your account. Some stuff you have to figure out on your own. You're the only one who knows how much that account is worth to you.

Rule 1 of botting: Never bot on an account your not willing to risk. Nothing has changed, suspensions are being handed on based on player reports.

I've done a ton of work on providing unique paths so that itll be harder for others to notice that you are a bot. I'm seeking feedback on these changes as they are substantial before pushing them to live.

i belive that the Fate bot is the one causing this suspension. Adding a random element on when the bot start to move to a fate... It sure look strange that you're waiting for a fate and as soon as it pop you start moving toward look strange. So adding a random value like 5 to 15 sec after the fate spawn would prevent that

Oh and i believe it should apply to everything like PVP accept time for queue and such

No ban, just a server of idiots

I got a 72 hour suspension as of midnight tonight supposedly for actions yesterday. I've been using EX combat assist and fatebot. I work from home on my computer so I'm almost always here watching it on one screen while working on the other. Yesterday I let the fate bot run for about two hours while mowing the grass. I always check my whispers when I get back, and I did have one person asking for a raise which of course was ignored because I was afk, that's the only thing I can think of that got me banned.

I was running FATE bot while I was remotely monitoring it from work, though I had it up the entire time on a second monitor. I was using Combat Ex during a few dungeon runs later that night. I think what may have actually done it, and this was stupid to do and is entirely my fault, but I mentioned the remote chat program I was using in my fc. For some reason it didn't cross my mind that this would be against ToS. Just seems like such a harmless thing to do.

The problem with the fate bot is if multiple people use it, they will all be moving through the same paths and going after the fate at the same time. I noticed this on gilgamesh, like 4 people had it and it was extreme obvious what was going on.

unless you had some settings bonkered it doesnt make any sense that Combat Ex would cause any problems.

I have been using this bot since the beta was first released, and i have yet to receive a single warning or /tell from someone in game saying i am botting. All i have been doing is FATE botting and dungeon grinding with ex combat assist.
