Masses of Botters quitting D3 to bot WoW: MoP and GW2 for better Profits?

back to other games? sure, d3 its not worth anymore..the banhammer is to fast in d3.
im waiting for gw2. There will be some bots out :)

2,400$ a month in rent might be overdoing it a bit :p

Unless ofc, you live in a big ass apartment, and are the sole payer for the entire family - then just maybe :p

I really doubt that GW will provide any considerable long term profits, until now only blizzard games, especially wow were able draw and hold millions of players, all other MMORPGS after initial hype when it was indeed possible to earn few buck either ended as complete failure (Tor) or shrinked to few houndreds thousadns stable players (like Eve). If i remember correctly, first GW, despite not having paid subscribtion, controlled only few % of MMO market, and i would be very surprised if GW2 managed much better. Its just a matter of advertising - Blizzard so well known that every geme it makes has guaranteed gigantic sells, and if its even average, millions will stay playing it. Other, smaller developers, even if make great game , just cant reach to so many potential customers. So this leave us with 2 potentially profitable games - WoW and D3. WoW is now big mistery, it had some reccesion after Cata, but gold prices has stabilized currently on level which i could call "decent", considering low system resources consumption per client and elimiantion of necessity to pay for subscribtion thanks to RAF gametime. However, after Pandaria, everything can happen. Its certain that firstw few weeks after this expansion our profits willl skyrocket, but after initial hype its impossible to tell if ppl would like it and stay or another few milllions will leave WoW, just like in case of Cataclysm. As of D3, Currently i got 2 accounts running core + fos for 10 hours a day with breaks, earning about 4 mln total. Considering that i could sell this gold on RMAH, its quite nice profit. RMAH isnt option for persons getting dozens of millions daily, from my experience its possible to sell about 5 mln per day on single account, but nice "no-brainer" profit it delivers, gives initial "kick" allowing quickly expand from 2 to more accounts. Of course in long run its all depending on how good can we dodge bans.

gw2 you cant bot with pub bots, this bots will be banned within 1 day imo ( same as in gw1 ).

lol no it's not

I can give you email contacts of the sure-ban china middlemen. They don't even bother to use VP* and they use the speedhack to teleport from Northshire Abbey to Stormwind Bank in 3 sec.

you dont need millions of player to play the game so you can make profit from botting , you just need to find the nice game where gold is hard to get for the normal players and you need lots of gold for gear to pwn noobs , i was making 1k$/month from a game with 2-3 k ppl online in the server , and i was selling only in my clan , so thats 200 buyers max

dunno what you're doing but I've sold millions of gold in WoW without any problems what so ever.

Perhaps, but this argument has nothing to do with GW2. GW2 is not a "niche", its a well known game in botter community, so it would require very large stable player base to digest those massive amount of gold thrown into economy by botter migrating from WoW and D3 in hope of better profit. Furthermore, from what iv heard, in GW2 you can buy currency directly from official store, and that would mean big hit to perspectives, becuse not only we would have to sell much cheaper than legit store, but also many players will always choose legit currency over botted one, regardless of price difference, out of fear of being banned.

whatever we say now is going to be speculation , we need the game to come out and start botting , then we can decide if its profitable or no , and how long it will be profitable
if there is a constant demand for gold (good gold sinks) and replayable end game, it will probably be profitable in the long term
arenanet dont sell gold directly , they sell gems , lets say 500 gems cost 10$ , and you can sell the 500 gems ingame for 10 gold (other player need to buy em) , so if you sell 10 gold for 5$ to the players, it will be more profitable for some to buy from you and not from arena net , and if there is good gold sinks with the time players will get lazy and tired from farming for gold (if all they play for is pvp), so they will go online and buy some :D . Another way of making money i think about while writing this is you buy 10 gold for 5$ , buy the 500 gems , then go on some forum and sell the gems for 7$ to the players :D , here you go 2 $ without botting
and if you are going to play the game , not only bot , the best scenario is to join top clan , so you can sell inside the clan

edit : i said nice game , not niche

$600 a week in rent isn't anything special, if you want to live in a decent free standing house in a good area, $700 a week is pretty normal.

Anyway gotta go play SWTOR with all the other people that play SWTOR. Love that game.
