Hey guys, here with another Cata mats gold guide since battlechests are $5.
This time we will be using Tailoring and Enchanting
Now, I havent dont much testing. But hopefully this is the best way to do this.
[Deathsilk Bracers] = 10 [Embersilk Cloth]/ 2 bolts
[Hypnotic Dust] from bracers = About 1-3, sometimes more, and theres always the stupid essences
On my realm, dust prices are low compared to what they can be. Its roughly 16-20g per [Hypnotic Dust]. Averaging 2 [Hypnotic Dust], thats 32 gold per bracers.
[Embersilk Cloth] sells at about 40 gold. So that means 10 silk = 20g
Heres the part that sucks: the thread cost to make a pair of bracers is 5g 10 silver.
Bracers = 2 eternium thread per.
Total gold from bracers = about 22g
Its possible to force the AH to 25g per dust. Thats a lot.
Its hard to calculate Gold per Hour.
The area I farm at, I fill up my bags in 15 minutes, and i waste a lot of time. I easily get over 1.2k cloth per hour. Thats 240 bolts. Which is, of course, 120 bracers.
Which is roughly 200-240 [Hypnotic Dust]. Which, at 16g, totals 3840. Rounding that to 4000, and subtracting total thread costs = 3388g per hour.
Theres also the greens/blues/epics you get while farming cloth. Which can be disenchanted/sold.
Plus the Greater Celestial Essence, which I sell for 110g per stack.
Its worth it to check the price of [Hypnotic Dust] on your auction house. Keep in mind it might just be worth it to sell the [Embersilk Cloth].
