This is a matter of tankselection. I make somewhere between 2 000 000 and 3 000 000 credits per day if botting alot.
My moneymakers are Matilda, T-14, Churchill III and T-25. These tanks are all premiums ofc, and premiums is what you want to use for creditfarming efficiently. Also the are low tier (Tier V) which face more "nubs" than you will at higher tiers.

With that said. Slow moving tanks with fast turret and fireing speed does way better than the fast tanks.
Slow tanks get to the the battle with some support of other tanks, fast tanks arrive alone and get raped. this is why the camp function (wait for x secs on hotspot) would be amazing so that you can use any tank and do well. Slow shooting tanks(long reload with high alpha dmg) moves into open locations and after the first "inaccurate" shot it just sits there and wait for reload while beeing raped, so I would avoid those.

When selecting a tank for botting,
1 slow moving
2 fast fiering
3 high penetration(since the bots doesn't aim for weakspots)
4 fast turret
5 fast traverse speed

There are quite a few normal tanks who has this.
The worst tank you can use is a fast moving, slow loading, low armor tank.

In addtion the plugin Wait for Random Time makes your tank wait a bit in spawn to let other tanks get away and start spotting for you.

Finally: I have been up to 500 000 credits per hour, but this is with T34 tierVIII premium and FCM50T, however this increases the chance of getting reported alot since in Tier VII+ you meet more experienced players who may recognise the bots easier + that they pop out and shoot and gets back into cover way better than players at low tier. The bot can ofc not handle this playstyle well since it will just start moving whenever the opponent is hiding.

"Pics or it didn't happen": Multiply this by 10 and you see that you can make 3mill+ credits with the low level tanks in 10 hours.

If you notice i don't have much credits :) I am buying Tier8 to 10 tanks at the moment and since my T-57 Heavy as an example costed me 6.2 mill credits + 1.5 mill in Optics and stuff it is a bit low. (bought 4 high level tanks yday and today.)

To be honest its kinda hard ether way when the bot gets stuck or doesn't even more from the base.

another tip

another tip I've found when botting premium's is putting your best crew in that tank being botted. For example, I bot a tier III german medium tank so I put my E-50M crew in it, there 4 skill sets are a big difference at tier III and offset the bot mode to the point that I have a 50% win percent with the tank and make more silver.

Surely I do the same, you also get the bonus that the bot is training up that crew further for you.

With a bit of luck and the right tanks for example the (f)-series of the german low tier tanks you can make up to 400k per hour with a premium account and a lot of free exp ;)

"f" refers to French, and he's talking about the three German captured French tanks.

Sadly, only the S35 739 is available now, and the best one of them all, the micro-maus is not. The B2 is kinda mediocre as well, but overall, they're all pretty decent.

Other good basic tanks are the T-60, H35, and the T18 (with the 2 pdr.), the the prem T-127, M22, and T-15 are all acceptable. In my book, it's important to stay in tiers 2-3 and have a rapid-firing gun, and that's pretty much it for me. It you're faster you die faster, but you're less suspicious, if you've got armor you'll rake in more xp and credits, but you'll be fairly suspicious if you operate for longer periods over many battles.

I used to roll with the Churchill, T-14, and M4A2E4 tier 5 premiums and made a ton of credits, but now I view that as too risky. Slow and steady wins the race.

I currently roll the 38H (wr 46%), T-60 (wr 46%), H35 (wr 44%) and the SU-26 (wr 56%), with only the SU-26 being a tank that doesn't get botted much (as it's in 4th place). As you can see, the overall win-rate for those is more or less 46%, which is pretty safe. Considering that behind the most played tank, the mainly botted 38H with a wr 46% and 1100 battles, is the totally manually played KV-5 with a wr 48% and 900 battles, I'm pretty safe.

Also, considering that I play from a area of the world where the ping is on average 250-300, the bot actually performs better than me at times.
