Making a profile - couple of quick questions

I have no knowledge in coding, programing, playing with html or whatever this kinda thing is so wanted to check before I waste hours.

I've looked at a few profiles in wordpad and they start with this kind of thing

<GlideProfile>
<MinLevel>1</MinLevel>
<MaxLevel>80</MaxLevel>
<NaturalRun>True</NaturalRun>
<LureMinutes>0</LureMinutes>
<SkipWaypoints>True</SkipWaypoints>
<Factions></Factions>
<Waypoint>5580.389 6020.005 44.92325</Waypoint>

then at the end </GlideProfile>

Is that what I need to do, put some waypoints in there? Does GB fly from one to the other automatically then if there's a node, pop down and grab it or do I have to tell it to do that part too?
If it's just the waypoints, I think I can cope!
 
No, you have to download or record your own path.
You could add all of your own waypoints but that takes ages and you would be flying really linear and look a lot like a bot and also probably get stuck in things.

Also, you cannot directly open files from your pc, you have to upload them to http://auth.gatherbuddy.de/# but I don't know if you already knew that.

Yeah knew about the uploading part thanks. Any tutorials about on how to record a path?

edit scrub that, just seen the record bit on GB :D (was botting at the time of posting)

Will have a play.
 
If i may ask a question, does anyone know what that old GB profile editor was? it would plot the waypoints and show where they ran into things and such...?
