Like the title says, any ideas how? I just went to unlock my Lvl3 Garrison and it hit me: It's 5000g. I can't afford this. I can't afford anything.


I'm honestly stumped, I made most of my money with gathering in MoP and have been living off that. Gathering is pretty much worthless thanks to garrisons and I can't think of any other ways that aren't either too much work for the payout like drops, are a weekly things like old raids, or aren't feasible because they require having gold first.

At this point buying and selling a token is starting to look tempting and that's just wrong on a few levels.

Actually it's designed for people just in your position.

Pets can be profitable, but it's a long investment (lots of pets, then lots of Level 3 Garrisons) -you can then farm/sell 'upgrade services' via Flawless Battle-Stones and Levelling tokens.

Still a lot of Gold from fishing and cooking, and can all be farmed via Garrison fishing. Sell either cooked food or raw fish based on your server/markets.

Firelands 25HC nets you about 1700-2500g (?) each clear, so get your alts there and kill everything each week.

If you full quest in WOD, you will get 12-15k in the end.

You mean 90-100? For the time that would take 12-15k isn't really that much and repeatedly doing that probably isn't worth the risk of getting caught.

Transmog and pets are really efficiente. I dont do that because Im not good at this and i dont like those farms.
You can farm Felblight in Tannan with plants or skinning. One felblight cost 100-200g and you can get 10-15 per hour.
Then you can trad plants and leather for primals spirit in the NPC in your garrison (the NPC changes everyday). Then with spirits you can craft alot of great item to upgrade stuff. Its really worth.

But I agree, I miss MoP's economy

i have 5x100 but 4 of them have barn at lvl 3, per day i can get 6 savage blood per day. so 6 x 4character x 31 days x 95 g each 70k gold in 1 month
also, u cna get medalion from terror ven, death talon and doom, each medalion goes for 4000-4800g . and u can kill them every day. yeterday i got 5 of them in 5 character

If you want to be lazy just use your garrisons. I logged in, completed follower missions I'd started six months ago, collected mats from barns, profession huts, etc, that were all likewise months old. I made 10k in a few hours just selling ore, bloods, runes, enchanting mats. If you have multiple 100s, taking an hour or two out per week to farm work orders for your barns (join group via group finder) ensures you always have that income regardless of what else you do.

My brother has his bot farming felblight and leather in tanaan. That's like 10-15k per night, roughly 8-10 hours. He's been doing this for the last four months now, not everyday, but close. And he is - quote D. Trump - 'really, really rich'.

Boring for nothing. 70K per month. Whats wrong man. Even per week its nothing.

How are you making money from fishing thatwouldbestealing? Only felmouths are worth a damn and felblights are only from pools (which would get my little toon murdered)
