main window and graymagic.dll

Sorry bout new thread but i cant figure this out.. been reading all the threads here and i have dowloaded all the stuff Tony said to download but i still get main window error and greymagic.dll error.. what to do?

I'm having the exact same problem, no clue what to do. I just got this 2 days ago, and it was a great 1 day. I read through forums without any solution and the moderator says "Use support, thread closed." Then I use support and I get an email that says "Refer to the forums for help." ... spectacular -.-
 
Just seen tony mention in another post there seems to be a known issue with xp and vista users atm

are you on those os's ?
 
Did you guys all update C++ and .Net and rebooted afterwards? I have a feeling this might be the issue for most people getting those error messages.

If yes, and you're still getting the error, try the repair for .Net - for some weird reason this did the trick for me. Give it a shot and try. :)

He is right, I had to update C++ and delete all honor buddy files outta my computer, reinstall. I'm up and running.
 
i DL'ed all the stuff and updated .net4. shutdown computer. tried and nothing.

Then deleted everything shutdown again and redownloaded. still doesnt work.. im cant think of anything more so if someone haz solution ill be happy =D

Did you update C++ and rebooted afterwards?
 
Yes. as i have said couple of times now i have downloaded everything and restarted few times. still nothing!
 
Download Microsoft Visual C++ 2012 Redistributable Package (x86) from Official Microsoft Download Center from the Honorbuddy v2.5.8072.690 download thread...
 
Go to your programs and features (Control Panel), and make sure the build you installed today is 11.0.60610

Should look like this in your programs & features: Microsoft Visual C++ 2012 Redistributable (x86) - 11.0.60610

If this is the case, reboot. If it still doesn't work afterwards, run the repair for .NET 4.5 - reboot afterwards. If it STILL doesn't work after that, I'm clueless. Sorry.
 
When trying to install .NET 4.5 i get this error.. Blocking Issues:

The .NET Framework 4.5 is not supported on this operating system.



Warnings:

Setup may not run properly, because the Windows Modules Installer Service is not available on this computer.

Now i am propper confused lol..

I have .NET 4
 
Ah, I just read that you're running XP.

Tony stated here that there's currently an issue with XP and Vista. Just wait for an update.
 
Ah thats ''good''.. then its not me that its something wrong with lol! thought i was going brain dead here!

You're welcome :) Just thinking, when did you last download the latest HB release? I just saw they updated the release thread at 7:19PM - probably the fix is already there. I just get so confused with all the time zones over here sometimes, haha. Hope it's going to work for you soon!
