Main account banned

Okay so there was another thread about this but it got closed (not sure why)

Main account was banned. This is important because I did NOTHING on this account other than give waypoints to the bots, beat diablo for them, and take items/gold from them a few times a day in small increments

Did not buy/sell gold from any account.
Did not run any, and I repeat, any kind of bots/autoit/hacks/zk exploit etc on the main, was clean as a whistle. The most exploitative thing i did was goblin runs. Anyways got the email saying banned for 3rd party programs (i'd ss it but do I really need to).

So im just makin this post as a PSA to you guys that nothing is safe ATM and to be very wary. Maybe have a twice removed mule if its worth the security.

Write an email. Tell blizzard you are in a college dorm and have 5 other roommates, and several of them play D3. Whine about how you never botted, and say you shared gold with your roommates once in while, but never cheated in any way. I think you can easily get the account back, but its probably going to be flagged for quite awhile.

The more detailed the email, the better your chances.
 
that blows.. if i lose my main account ill be pretty pissed but the game sucks anyway and i havent even played it outside botting/selling in the past 2-3 weeks
 
US server. I am disputing the shit out of it, and will continue to until it's unbanned.
 
They have really no right to ban accounts that did not breach their TOS, even if the user was doing it on aother account

They have right to terminate service (account) without reason or futrther notice smartass.
 
yeah, it is only because I like my current char, there is several hundred dollars worth of gear on him, and I would have to explain to my friends how I got banned (haven't told them I bot, don't want to) which is the worst one. Not only that but I didn't bot on the main, so their ban is technically invalid, and therefore I will fight it.
 
Yeah not getting it back. Oh well back to square one. I ran at a large profit so im quite ok with this. Also yes I ran main on same IP, same comp. Probably stupid of me to be lulled into false sense of security from people saying that a clean main account would never get banned. Anyways good luck out there fellas, they are out for blood.

Chalky, judging on yours posts and reactions i see one thing - being adouchebag with serificate doesnt help to stay free of bans. So at first - I'm sorry for yours lost, seconda...well..try to learn from it somthing.

I really don't know what you are talking about. I have been nothing but civil, friendly and helpful to people on these forums and have not ever said anything to flame or troll people. Based on this, I can only assume you are a troll, and by that measure, will not respond to any of your comments again. Good day sir. (also WTF does serificate mean)
