Use a guild bank to transfer gold and mats. Much safer than mailing. I send mats to my main all the time this way and have never had an issue on my main.

Could you mail gold, say 10K from your alt bank lvl 1 to your main which is on the same account, and then continue botting/farming, whatever without being worried that you might get inspected?
Cause obviously they will see a large amount being sent from a lvl 1 to another char and even tho they will quickly see its from the same account, they at first will look cause it might be a gold selling activity... Dont know how this works, I was just speculating about this. And they might look at the account - while you are farming (botting) with your higher lvl char... ;-)

In my experience, any gold or mats sent via mail between two toons on the same account goes unnoticed by Blizz. You are sending your mats to yourself and that is fine. It is mail or face to face transfers made between toons on different accounts you want to keep an eye on. I have several farmer guilds and each has a toon from my main account in it. I take out what I want when I want it and move it around my main account as needed. I would try ot avoid putting 20k in your farming guild bank and then immediatly taking it out on your main account. A turn around like that could be seen as possible gold selling. Leave the gold or mats in their for a while and then just take it as you need it. so long as you have that lvl 1 toon in there the mats and gold will be accessable even if your farmer were to get banned.
