[PAID] [Mage] Portal - An Advanced Honorbuddy Mage Routine [PvE/PvP]

[18/Nov/2013]
- If Burst is enabled, it ignores the 'Cooldowns' toggle setting.
- Added setting to Mirror Image, Synapse Springs, Trinkets, Lifeblood, and Racials to activate on burst mode.
- [Frost] Added settings to activate Icy Veins and Frozen Orb on burst mode.
- [Arcane] Added settings to activate Arcane Power on burst mode.
- When Experimental CanCast setting enabled, will ignore LoS on Garrosh's Siege Engineer (may fix routine pausing, may not..)
 
I seem to have a issue with the first boss in soO, I dont have a problem with any other bosses.

Thanks for the report, but you're going to have to give me more details as to what the issue is you're experiencing (and a log file if you have one).
 
Есть представители русскоговорящего комьюнити, которые пользуются этой рутиной? Приобрел рутину на лока, очень доволен. Могли бы относительной этой пару слов чиркнуть? Ибо описание более скромное, нежели на локовской рутине.

Ну так можно комментарии почитать) дамага выдаёт много. Не лагает. Насчёт пвп точно сказать не могу, не тестил, но наслышан, что очень хорошо справляется.
 
Ну 90 же страниц)) Как раз пвп интересует. Но после 33/0 на БГ и топ 2-3 по урону на РПБ 501 локом, с рутиной от Милза, я уверен, что и на мага хороша. Просто описание бледновато, поэтому и спросил. Надо брать, короч))

did u plan to add clever mechanics to the CR for heroic bosses in soo? like mirabis did in his druid routine?
i have seen, that u are actually with ur mage at the last part of lfr, thats shitty ;)

if u need some help or a tester for that - write me! i am using ur premium routine in nearly all fights of soo non-heroic.
but in heroic mode its probably impossible to use this routine (cause of the boss-/fightmechanics).

There are boss fight mechanics built into it - but not for everything, some things are better handled manually. Important stuff is in there though.

I use this routine for heroic i'm 14/14hc SoO atm and farming, not sure if you are frost/arcane/fire but i can say for frost/arcane it's fine you need to have it set up correctly that means using the hotkeys esp the burst & aoe keys so you are not multi dotting on the wrong adds and being accused of meter padding and on dotting nazgrim ect. also having a pause key set in tyrael is a big plus so you can take manual control if you need.
There is no routine out there that will do 100% for you in heroic mode, it does not come down to the mechanics but on the kill strategy. on things like adds on the belt@siegecrafter and engineer's on garrosh i do them myself. but you can force counter spell ect... but it can be a pain.
Millz needs to sort that out.
One thing this routine does not do atm from is avoid crowd control units that needs to be fixed but is only a minor issue if you have a pause button setup but is something millz need to address.

Avoiding crowd control units ? The routine shouldn't be casting on units which are crowd controlled (sheep, sap etc) - it checks every unit for them before casting on them - it'll be missing crowd control from fight specific stuff.. so for example the lance things in HoF.

I'll check the code for defensive stance and multi dotting, it wont cast on it if it's the current target and defensive stance is active, but not certain about multi-dotting - pretty sure it's in the standard 'do not damage' list (so should be checking for the aura).

*Edit* Yeah just checked, it shouldn't be multi-dotting Nazgrim when he's in defensive stance.

Hey Millz
It defo does not avoid controlled units for me atleast, but thats only a minor thing as like i said on trash ect i will pause the routine.
*Edit Blizzard is whats causing the cc breaking, it is not dotting. Bty is anyone else having issues with the latest HB update it's crashing once i click start.

Do you know which CC it's breaking? Which spec?

How is it breaking it (by this i mean is it casting a spell directly on the unit... Living Bomb on a sheep or arcane barrage on our target and that hits the sheeped unit next to it) ?

There's no code in to prevent AoE abilities if there's a CC'd unit next to it - If that's the problem then I'll see what I can do to fix it. Let me know - shouldn't need to keep stopping the routine and doing things manually, that defeats the point ! :)
 
Frozen orb is the only thing that has broke a cc on me. And that was my fault for not positioning myself correctly before the routine sent it out. I target CC's all the time and never really have a problem during combat. Just make sure my frozen orb is on CD before I face the rest of the mobs.

Disable and use it manually
 
Think I'll change the code to not use abilities which will break CC if there's a CC'd unit near your target. Not sure how well that'll work for frozen orb if there's a unit in it's path, but it's rare that happens anyway.
