[PAID] [Mage] Portal - An Advanced Honorbuddy Mage Routine [PvE/PvP]

Also after using this in raid last night it seems its not casting fast enough - it seems to be waiting till my cast bar drops off before starting again instead of being consistent.
What im trying to say is the casting needs to be faster so its constant and not dropping off.
 
hi Milz, on trial now and there some issues:

1) After legendary bracers' proc CR often tries to cast pyro 2 times, when in reality it should be done once.
2) CR isnt using ROP before combustion.
 
i am having a lot of issues aswell, very slow to cast spells and not using aoe properly, i dont think its using flamestrike atall also cant even use this to quest atm dieing to like 2 adds -_-, feels bad man

i am not sure if i am doing something wrong or had bad sttings, would appreciate a guide on settings for pve, ty

auto face enemies not working aswell, it repeatedly tryes to cast while facing the other way and also it just stands there and not atk till i re-engage sometimes. even though i had auto focus and auto face option selected

Not sure why it would be slow - got high latency in game? Tried turning your TPS count up in Enyo?

I'm potentially just doing too many checks. I'll have a go in game and see if I can work it out.

Flamestrike is cast on High AoE unit count - set on fire tab.

I've just tested auto facing on a dummy and it's working fine - turning around to attack the dummy behind me when i switch targets. Double check you've got the option enabled. It doesn't turn around instantly, it takes up to half a second or so to turn the character around.

Do you have any update for Arcane Spec next build.

Now,Arcane have one new routine,do not need barrage at all,stack haste buff to 100 times.

I think that's useful for Arcane.

auto facing works fine most of the time and only have issue with it once in a while which is manageable, it mainly happens when it blinks and fails to re-face the enemy and trys to cast spells facing the wrong way, happens in pvp maily and also in pve questing when adds stun u, also is it possible to make it so that the bot wont try to atk friendly targets plz, having to pause the bot every time u target npc or allys is annoying as fck, btw love your addons m8, keep up the good work.

You should take a look at the initial burst. It uses Rune of Power before it even has a Heating Up and it sometimes uses Fire Blast even though a Hot Streak is already up.
 
Can someone tell me which of the mage rutines are best? Milz or Kingswow? someone who has tried them both? :) This post will also be postet on kingswow routine :) Thanks for help in advance :)
 
I'm using portal for a few days now on my frost mage and it works really well. But I encountered 2 problems you should look in to.
- The facing seems to get stuck on battle with multiple mobs and or getting stunned in pve, wich results a lot in deaths. (See madhu89's recent post higher up)
- Can you put in a checkbox to enable/disable water elemental summoning? Due to the talent 'Lonely Winter' you can no longer summon it, buddy still tries this and slows down the routine.

yes plz, that facing issue is major problem, it makes me cringe every time it happens and it happens quite often believe me, especially in a dungeon with a fellow mage standing right next to me and give me looks like "wtf u doing ?", i have even disabled the blink option and it still has issues with facing the enemy randomly. i am using your SP routine and that works fine, please look into this. thanks
 
anyone have good settings for fire mage raiding, 845 geared and still finding my dps to be a little low running the routine.

For Arcane:

1) Is there a reason why Mark of Aluneth is not casted as part of the rotation?

2) Why is Arcane Familiar not auto casted with respawn upon death or refreshed when it runs out?

That'll get nerfed in no time. It's definitely not the intended use of the game mechanics. If it's still around by next week or so I'll add it.

*Edit* Blizzard have confirmed they're intending to nerf NT spam.

- [Frost] Fixed trying to summon water elemental with Lonely Winter talent out of combat.
- Potential fix to facing issues.

Guess i tried it another time then, because it doesnt show up, would be nice with a trial for each exp atleast so i know what im working with now.

What dps are you getting ?
Have you tried on dummies for 3-4 minutes?

The settings do not really alter the dps that much, you could make the burst phase manual.

The trial option appears once you login to the buddy store.

I've reset it a few times over the past couple of days due to issues with purchasing products on the store site - so trial option should be available for you.
