[PAID] [Mage] Portal - An Advanced Honorbuddy Mage Routine [PvE/PvP]

Hi millz,
I'm having some issues with the activate on burst button checked. I'm not sure if it's me not understanding it or if it's issue in the routine. I have IV, FO, PC, mirror image and my troll racial all set to enable on burst. Then whenever one is up or when I can line some up, I will use the burst key which I expect will activate whatever of these are available. But I get some strange behavior where one or more of these don't activate. Sometimes on pull, FO won't activate so I have to manually cast it. Also, later in the fight I might have PC and FO sync'd so I activate burst and only FO gets used. Sometimes it's also mirror image or my racial I see that don't get used. Below are some snippets I could find, basically it seems like the burst misses some of the burst cds I have.

There is a issue with usage of evocation. There needs to be a check placed to prevent it from using it during PC burn phase, the rotation using it is a massive dps loss. It should be casting evocation if needed before it cast PC
Also while I am on the topic of evocation could you please lower it's use to 50%, siming has shown that atm 50% is the sweet spot because of the way we are spending our mana now.

One thing I have noticed with PC is that after it expires it does not target last target I really wish it would!

Arcane blast has been a issue in this routine rotation from day one with regards to how it will weave ab, am, ab sometimes it will cast 2 am in a row but most of the time it is weaving them. There is no reason to have it doing this it should be strictly 4 AC and 3 AM then spending the 3 AM and fishng for AM procs again. Having the weaving happening is wasting mana and also when Over Powered is talented it is reducing the extended duration we can get. on a single target we want to be at 4 AC all the time to speed up AM usage. Actualy I would love to see Arcane Barrage out of the rotation full stop in single target mode and used manually or at least on a toggle.

Would you be able to add a mouse over hot key for RoP? I would love that.

Hey

Evocation is used at setting value or < 50%, check your settings if it's using it early. I'm removing setting completely in next build. I'll add a check in to not use it when target is crystal.

AM's usage is changing in the next build to pool before burn and use instantly when burning.

AB is a key spell in the rotation. Not removing (or adding a setting) to something like that as it would cause too many bug reports.

I'll add a hotkey for RoP.

Hey

Need the full log file I'm afraid. You should be using the cooldown hotkey rather than burst in PvE. I'm pretty tempted to just remove the burst hotkey completely and add all of the settings to cooldown hotkey instead.

Added to my to-do list. Not quite as easy to add since blizzard would be cancelled when it detects no (or low) units under it.

Evocation is used at setting value or < 50%, check your settings if it's using it early. I'm removing setting completely in next build. I'll add a check in to not use it when target is crystal.

AM's usage is changing in the next build to pool before burn and use instantly when burning.

AB is a key spell in the rotation. Not removing (or adding a setting) to something like that as it would cause too many bug reports.

I'll add a hotkey for RoP.

Bty I have seen evocation cast at 90% mana but I'll keep a eye on it. Looking foward to testing the changes you make.

So how does this work? I put all my abilities set to "Always" or "On cooldown" and then toggle cooldown hotkey on/off? Will that be the same thing as what I was trying to do with the burst?

EDIT:Well I tried this but still doesnt work. Here's a piece where frozen orb doesn't get used until I manually force it a couple seconds later: I also can't seem to reproduce this on a training dummy but it keeps happening in raid.

Hey millz

before i state my issue i would like to say that i used to use this CC about a year ago as a frost mage in MOP and it was the best CC ever and have no doubt it still is :D

Just curious im leveling my mage and bought this, specced as arcane i've checked all my settings.. im still learning arcane even though its 3 buttons im just playing around and checking what arcane charges are best to be used on...

but anyways i realized that in a dungeon its not using arcane barrage, is this normal or is this something to do with the routine im not sure off?

Please fix polymorph. It doesn't work in arena - like ever. I have tried every setting, putting the hp% to 50 - everything. Nothing works.
 
frost is working good for me, very nice CC. However i find myself always pausing the routine just before PC is ready, due to a couple of issues.
1. It always throws frozen orb after it's placed PC, which is a dps loss (as far as i know) since its a GCD loss while PC is up.
I read a lot of mage forums stating that you should always throw orb first then place PC.
2. It always casts frost bomb on the crystal, even if the boss already has frost bomb. Since i'm using the ice lance glyph, this is another dps loss, since ice lance will detonate the bomb from boss anyway due to cleave from PC.
Not sure how this could be solved, maybe add a check for glyph and option for don't recast Fbomb if the closest enemy to current target has Fbomb.

need help trying to run trial routine through bgbuddy and enyo and it does absolutely noting......
 
Not doing any rotations what so ever, read through this forum page and tried a lot of things you have told other people, re installed honor buddy several times and have tried all I can think of, it still doesn't go through rotation orattack people in PVP
