how do you post on the main page? and anyone have any tips on how to change my mount with gatherbuddy? i type in a different mount name and it always changes it back to my blue flying mount.

No matter what I change, I can't stop flamestrike being cast. I am a frost 90 mage and it happens even when I disable aoe/set aoe too 100. I have tried in fire, frost, arcane...it doesn't help.
Searching through the thread I find its been reported (and fixed?) before, but it seems for me for some reason its still not working.
So is there any way to disable flamestrike that I haven't already mentioned?
Edit* Also I have noticed its not waiting for FoF and FfB until casting Icy Veins.

I don't use burst at all tbh, it's my understanding that Burst will fire instantly whereas cooldowns will wait until the relevant procs (brain freeze/arcane charges etc) are in place.

There is something not right with AOE at the moment, the AOE setting seems to be ignored most if not all of the time, also it tries to spam NT even if there are 20 targets (probably related to ignoring the AOE targets setting), only once they all have a dot does it arcane explosion etc

I'm sure it used to only dot if there were less than 4/5 targets (or whatever it's set at).You are right about flamestrike, it's only a damage increase (DPET) if the dot is able to run it's duration, with low HP mobs it shouldn't be flamestriking, tbh i'd love the ability to turn it off and on because 50% of the time t's actually a dps loss. Especially on trash.
Hopefully Millz can sort upon his return.

Great news mate, thanks for the feedback, next week I'll be tidying it up a bit with some more fight specific information and breaking it down for different difficulties because heroic settings should be different to lfr and 25man to 10man etc.
Added guide to signature btw to save people missing it

where did you get 12684 haste from? everything I read says:
37.52% NT = 45.88% raid buffed
12138
+6
45.88% NT

62.47% LB

in 530 tot gear I just did 170 on nazgrim and 278 on paragons, the trash was fine with aoe and never had it spamming NT or Blizzard at all... all in all it worked without a hitch except a couple los issues but thats my fault, not the CC

dunno if you find this important but you only writes about haste and then the rest for mastery but for shatter(Doubles the critical strike chance of all your spells against frozen targets plus an additional 50%.) to guarantee critical strikes you need 25% + 1% for each lvl the raidbosses are higher so as raidbosses are 3 lvl higher its 28% thats
for shatter to work 25 %
on Raidbosses + 3%
crit buff -5%
total 23%
every crit above that is a waste

Your maths seems to be based on having goblin racial, i've not gone that advanced tbh, maybe in the future
It is as you said if you are a goblin but all other races the figure is 12684[Frost]Akraen's Comprehensive Guide to 5.4 Frost(Advanced)V.2
also Ask Mr Robot has the same value, it's generally accepted that this is the correct figure. It's been worked out plenty of times, in terms of crit, it's easily the worst stat for arcane and frost, the is zero value in getting to any crit thresholds over haste or mastery. Only time you would take crit over haste (NEVER over mastery) is when you have already hit the next bomb plateau and cannot swap into mastery instead.

correct 12k haste is a must at 570ish ilvls your see a huge incress .. And btw for everyone using Mr robot please make sure you dont have frost armour checked if your running arcane it will through your numbers way off

In the arcane guide though he uses frost armor and mage armor....now confused!!

Will look into it. It's specifically checking the gloves you have equipped, and then uses lua to actual use the item, but if another item is higher in the 'list', it'll use that one instead (causing it to spam and never trigger).
Think it triggers under AoE, but yeah, I'll add that to the list.

I'll add a toggle to allow disabling flamestrike.
IV will cast, and then pool FoF and BF charges. Want to get IV used ASAP so we can get as many uses as possible with it.

I'll check out NT. As above will add a setting for disabling flamestrike.

You can setup abilities to be used on burst, like trinkets, cooldowns etc. When you hit burst it'll then use all of those cooldowns. Generally used for PvP, there's very few situations where you'd use it for PvE (the lightning boss in ToT comes to mind though.. where you stand in the pools for extra damage, can't think of the name !)
The free version doesn't support afk bot bases - you need to control the facing/movement/targeting etc.

The Guide is for Arcane bar a few encounters when frost is used, So set your toon up in mage armor. You want the option to use frost armor because it will give you more powerful bombs. If you are running Frost all the time which is perfectly ok then you would want to ignore the stats in this guide as they are arcane based and instead follow the link in post 2173 and read the guide it will give you stat weights ect..
