Low level Mining / Herbing

is there such a thing as a ground / grind bot mining and herbing profile? I'm looking to level them up on my lvl 27 toon, alliance side. I found a couple of old links (from 2010 and 2011) but I can't download / access the profiles there.
 
Thanks, i have kick's profile pack and have been using it. I just wanted to get my mining up to par and then continue the leveling profiles from kick. that way he can mine along the way as he levels. this toon has very little gold as I created him on another server, not my home realm and it would be nice to be able to have stuff to sell so I can purchse some bags.
 
A good way to get gold on a new server at low'ish levels is to fish the pools at the Darkmoon faire when its ok since they give you sealed crates which can give you quite a few lvl 90 mats just a thought =^.^=
 
If I hear you right you are falling behind on herb+mining when you are questing as normal.

I've had this problem ... until I set looting radius higher. The problem is that the bot doesn't look more than 35 yards away from it's path for herbs/ore nodes by default.

When I set to 100 yards it ran all over the place to find nodes - to the point where it ended grinding mobs and nodes more than questing. I'm testing 70 yards now. It might be more reasonable.



You can change the loot radius here:

Settings&tools -> Looting -> Loot radius (drag it right/left to whichever number you want)




As for catching up on that 1 toon that has lagged behind I recommend you grind those herbs/ores manually. It takes shorter time than starting looking for automatic ways (even as the word automatic should equal faster).
 
Thanks for the replies. I started with skinning / herbing and changed to skinning mining. I was looking for a way to get the mining skill up to an appropriate level so he could just mine while questing using quest bot / Kick's profiles. I tried using PB, but bot is just going to the AH and buying what it needs to smelt. This isn't good for me cause this toon has only a few hundred gold. Not sure how to set it up, I just want it to physically mine the ores to level up the skill. I found a couple videos, one was I think an older version of PB and the other the guy is showing how to make profiles but I didn't see how to modify the ones already there. Perhaps it's above my head. Seems like there used to be grind profiles for skilling up herb / mining and the bot would just run until it needed to go to the next zone. I have bengan's but toon doesn't seem to be working when using GB2... Perhaps cause it doesn't know how to fly?

I leveled through until I got flying, then went back and leveled my mining/herb up to par and then kept it up from there on.
