lots of talk about giving gold between chrs what about items

I have a friend that just plays a little and has crap for eq.
At first I was just going to give him some gold.
Then I thought about all the bs and ban talk about transferring gold.

So can I just buy him some items at the ah and give them to him without any problems?

ps just curious can he post some for high price on the ah and I buy it, is that a ban offence?

unless you're giving him 10k+ there won't be a problem, just talk to him ingame like you would and it is apparent to anyone investigating suspcious behaviour that it is a friend of yours

From what i have heard doing this is what gold sellers do so may flag your account but every thing is hear say i personaly use a guild bank for all my transfers i have 3 guild banks in total across 2 accounts and i have friends and such in these guilds and they take what they need out of it gold or items.

He just got his pally to 80...in only a year like I said he doesn't play much.
We ran him thru some instances and another friend gave him a titansteel destroyer and he almost fainted lol
I want to go to the ah and just buy him some stuff and we are running him thru icc 5 mans tonight.

^ that's what I do. from about 72-80 just running a few instances will equip you well for botting.
