Lots of Bans today -- Bot at your Own Risk

I'm not sure why i didn't get banned. I use CR's ALLL the time. I was online for the tripwire. Using Vitalics Rogue CR. I RARELY (once a month maybe) go into an LFR. I mainly use the CR for PvP.

I don't really garrison bot, I just use the bot to automate rotation. I do use Kicks Leveling to level 90-100, but i watch it 95% of the time. I didn't get banned.
 
Ive been clicking on the posts of people who say theyve used cr only in the report section and i see them replying in the garrisonbutler threads, and other bots.

(I.e the Chucklez person who said they used leaves only, last post they had was in garrisonbutler thread saying it works great). Ive also seen others. People need to be honest with their reporting.
 
I got banned. I only used Raidbot in LFR. For maybe 2 hours max 2-3 nights a week. I don't even know how to use the garrison bots. No previous bans/warnings/offenses.

The terms of service can say whatever Blizzard wants it to, just because you agree to something doesn't give them the ability to ignore federal statutes.

It's all smoke and mirrors. 99.5% of the people here that have been banned were doing the regular shit people get banned for, I really want to believe the people that are claiming that 'they used CRs only' but almost all of them have posts in Gatherbuddy, GarrisonButler or BGfarmer threads where everyone knows it's a dice roll and your time is limited.
 
After reading all these threads, im really not sure why i hav't been banned yet. I practically use everything i can get my hands on most of the time, i'm online for more than 12hrs a day with or without hb(when its down). bot in lfr, garrison, walkins, pvp everything. I would assume im just lucky, but i do watch it 95+% of the time.
quick edit. I'm allmost allways talking to guildies in gchat/whispers or in trade, not sure if that makes any diff.

Lot's of people were not banned for botting (use of third party software) specifically. I'm one of them, i got banned for "Exploiting of Game Mechanics". They say that the client of the game can collect data from your computer, regarding RAM usage and CPU process. And if found some anomalies that indicate the usage of some kinda of software or addon to collect information from the game database of allow actions of hacking the interface (yeah, LOL). enviroment, or game experience (ROFL).

I really tried to apeal, twice, and got nothing.

It's pretty clear if you CR in raid you are being flagged and suspended. They have banned four days in a row now, I don't think they'll stop. People that were on and botting yesterday aren't playing today and so forth. Matter of time if you use CR's in raid imo.

I'm willing to bet that a majority of those banned who "Only used CRs" also had Chat Output and Click to Move Enabled within the botbase, things that many people have said in months and months of previous ban report threads are a bad idea. The Enyo team already posted this which leads me to think that might be the case.

Like you, you bot almost identical to me. Though I mainly just bot for PvP, rarely dungeons or LFR etc.

I am however constantly engaged in communication with guildies, and trade chat.. Perhaps that makes a difference. Chat logs indicate that someone is at the computer...
 
I personally don't think ctm has anytning to do with it, i use clm on every toon i have on every account i have andhave since i started playing way back in the day, ive allways had my interact with target keybound to a specific key, easy to reach. And as far as playing like the bot, since i first started playing ive played the same exact way. I use Tuanhas crs mostly, but his crs actually do the exact same thing as i do, not much diff in the timing or movement either.
I should add that i multibox quite a few diff teams and ctm is a must for that.
