Ghostie's Loot Rules

Hey Guys, So the loot system for db is starting to look in better shape, its not prefect yet but while they work on that, I've decided to re-release my ruleset

Bear in mind, due to restrictions in the looting system, items will be missed, theres nothing I can do about that

Once again, there's Different versions of my loot rules designed to meet different needs

Main

Code:
This is the primary version of my rule set. 
It will only pick up magic armor and weapons with ilvl61+ and jewelry with ilvl59+.
It picks up all rare+.
It picks up all level8+ gems.
It does salvage and it does sell

Main_Nogems

Code:
The same idea as the main rule set, only without the gems

limitPick

Code:
This version reduces the amount of items picked up by the bots, allowing the bot to run for longer periods of time before you need to empty the stash.
Loot rare items with iLvl 60+
Loot all Legendarys and Set
Loot all plans and designs

pickAll

noSalvage

 I've completely removed the Salvage function from this version of the loot rules, this shares the same pickup filters as Main

Main_Thiole

Released Version 2, but this one needs a fair bit of feedback to perfect so come at me bro \o/
 
testing it tonight, hopefully this one will pick up plans and stuff, my other one didnt pick up plans and designs
 
It should do plans just fine, it has when I've tested it. There was a small issue that should be fixed now, I'll double check v1 and make sure its fine in there.

There was a small stashing issue that should be fixed in both v2 r0.1 and v2 r1.1

Good work, ive posted my Rules all over the forum too, it is almost identical to your 1.0 Rule. Thou you got to the next level and posted everything in one place :)
 
may I suggest picking up shields with 25% gold find ? They sell well or are very nice for the templar follower for bots

Shields belong to Off-Hand, in which case there is not "group all off-hands together" (I believe) so you need to do Mojo, Quiver and Shield individually.
 
EDIT: Looks like it may of been user error. I had a clean install of DB and hadn't chosen to protect any stash pages. Apparently if you don't protect at least 1 page then stashing doesn't work properly.

Just caught this ruleset selling a 2H axe with 1100DPS to the vendor. So i don't think the DPS weapon rules are working in it.

It was ghostie_rules_2_r1.1.xml


Looked at the source of the rules and i can't see whats wrong, maybe its a demonbuddy bug?

I swear db just decides to ignore the ruleset every so often. i'm going to be adding some more sets tonight anyway and see what happens

noob question.. does db know what the blues stats are once it drops off the mob and are laying on the ground? Or does it have to be in your inventory first?
 
If loot rules are set right, if a item does not even meet the minimum requirements, it won't even pick up. Then if it picks up, it will go through another set of requirements to determine if it is getting sold, salvaged or kept in the stash. So yes, the item can be scanned while its on the floor, it doesn't need to be picked up.
