People said it could be a CPU issue?
my stats are
Intel Core i5CPU 3.20GHz
running on 8 gig of ram.

Intel HD Graphics-
Physical Memory 8079MB
Min Graphics Memory: 32 MB
Max Graphics Memory: 1696 MB
Processor: Intel64 Family 6 Model 37 Stepping 2
Processor Speed: 3200 MHz

Honestly I just don't what needs the bigger upgrade, I don't know what numbers I'm really looking for :/
I appreciate the help so far.

ati 5770 = $150 on newegg.
ati 5870 is like 320-400.

I actually recommend 2x 5770 (SLI / Crossfire) over 1x 5870 as you get more ram, but with 5870 you get 256-bit vs 128 with 5770.

Dude WoW dont work with crossfire/Sli so only 1`card is rly working. I know this cos i has got 5770 in Crossfire and this was mistake.. now im happy with my gtx470 and recommend for everyone.

Yes it does. SLI has been supported for a long time.

I thought that wow only utilizes SLI or Crossfire when one card is maxed and only then will it draw resources from the second card. So basically to get both cards operating, they would have to be some pretty crappy cards.

This could be outdated info, I have not looked into it recently. Furthermore, im not sure how this effects multiple instances of WoW.

Your GPU is def. your bottleneck, a single 5850 or some such would suite you just fine it would seem.

I was looking at a sli setup for my new box, could not find anything from Blizz saying sli is supported by WoW. All forum posts I read say it isn't supported. Anyone who setup and sli rig noticed no difference in performance what so ever, I suggest it isn't supported or works so badly no-one notices.

Are you able to find anything from Blizz saying sli works in WoW ? I'd love to run it in sli.

It seems like this is integrated graphics ( Shared resources ) Is this a desktop or laptop? If it is a desktop, do you know if you have an open graphics port? This would certainly help you in deciding on an upgrade.

This is taken from wow support;

Are SLI or XFIRE features supported for multiple video cards?
Yes, these are supported features although that does not necessarily translate to higher performance.

In other words, yes it works, but no it doesn't

So basically, we have implemented all features of SLI, but it does fuck all.
