Looking for a new CPU - Xeon or i5?

Could you be a little more specific :D?
How many instances of wow+hb on what system?

Bought the Xeon CPU that can handle up to 20-25 times WoW + HB calculational. (Paired with 16GB RAM and the Board i mentioned)
Atm running like 6 times WoW + HB with ~ 20-25 % workload. One WoW uses like 200-300MB RAM.

I thought some minutes about that "info" even if its not that big information.
Why? Because botter report other botters so DO NOT expect help anyway.
I really hate that manner.

200-300 ? Mine uses 500-600 each. What resolution, what settings ?

How do you guys run so many bots?!??!?!?!?!?

I have an i5 clocked to 4,5 ghz. 3570k.

I have all graphics to minimal. all ingame graphics to minimal. turn off all addons,plugins etc. but still with 11 bots im at 70%

I cant understand why u only have 20 % cpu usage :)
800x600 resolution for all WoWs?
Does it matter what the windows resolution is?
Im running with a GTX 260

Would be nice to know what you did exactly
 
GTX260 is a dx9 card, dx11 cards running the game with dx11 take away some of the work from the CPU.

You can limit the fps of your game, you can go as low as 15 and have HB still working decently, I choose 30 since I have the spare CPU power.

wow folder/WTF/config.wtf, add or edit these lines.

Code: 
SET maxFPS "30"
SET maxFPSBk "30"
 
Yeah i knowhow to limit the FPS but thank you.
So its just the graphics card that limit the cpu?
 
Just curious, is there any virtual machine that supports dx11 ? VMware only knows DX9.

haha, One of my home PC's has 2 x6 core Xeons with 64gig of ram, But I still love my i7 at 4.8ghz and 2 680's just for crysis 3 :) The Xeons are for my rendering station :)
 
There is its called Hyper V, built by windows but you need windows 8 to have it.
 
nothing limits anything...
you could use a dual-core with a ati 7000-series graphics card without any problems.
your graphic card just doesnt have enough power or your wow config is crap.

with an on-board hd 4000 i can run 16-18 bots without any problems, so your graphic card should be able to do the same.
