Hi all,

Just returning to WoW after a 1.5 year break and only after playing for a few days I start thinking about GB again :)

I used GB in the past with great success. I had a botting account which i just used GB on and I only did that on my laptop.

I also had a main account which i never botted on and played it on a totally separate computer to the GB one (paranoia ftw!).

The question I had is - so i have registered the botting account to one battle.net and the main account to another battle.net account. As long as i dont use the same credit card to pay for both accounts (ie use a gamecard for one and a credit card for the other), is there much chance that if my botting account gets banned, they would ban the other account as well ?

i know its a given "if you are scared to loose your account then dont bot", but i am trying to keep the 2 accounts totally separate.

or does any other experienced botter have a better way of keep 2 accounts totally separate ? - although blizz would see the same IP.

sorry for the long post and thanks in advance for any reply.

ps, this is on a EU server and i never bot for more than 5 or so hours and normally when i can see the laptop (ie not totally afk).

thanks again

well thats easy : if you dont want to get BANNED, dont use HB or any other program

I bot like a slut on my main and on my bot account. I am only doing AB on my main, worth the risk seeing how I have waisted almost 12 days of play time tring to get my battle tank.... I mean really blizz anyone but a botter who would be willing to farm that long wound an hero after... anways. My bot PC is running thru a proxy, diffrent email and I pay only with a game card. I exchang mats and money through the guild bank.

If you are using two separate Battlenet accounts you should have no issue, regardless of how you are paying for them. I use paypal for all my accounts and never an issue from this. To keep your main and botting accounts separate in game, simply use guild banks to transfer mats and gold between your toons. I have a few farming guilds and each one of them has a level 1 GM from my main account. When I want mats or gold I take it from the bank with the GM and then mail it to the toon I want it on. Mail sent between toons on the same account, regardless of the gold being sent, does not really raise flags. Large transfers of gold made between toons on separate accounts can raise suspicion.
