Okay....so here is my story...2 days ago my account got banned...and i get an email an hour later from blizzard and it stated that my account was banned for "Hacks/Cheats"

I sent in a ticket....and today I get this response...

This is the latest response from Customer Support:
World of Warcraft - Account Issue

Recently, your account was actioned incorrectly as a result of our efforts to protect the World of Warcraft environment from exploitative behavior. As part of these efforts, we recently closed some accounts engaged in or associated with exploitative activities including the use of third party programs. While our goal is to protect our players from such activities whenever possible, these closures were not intended to affect accounts if the exploitative activity was performed by an unauthorized party.

Please note that access to this account been restored and all actions removed. If your account was previously reported as compromised and in queue for an investigation, rest assured that this has not interrupted that process.

We sincerely apologize for any inconvenience this may have caused and encourage you to contact us with any further questions or concerns you may have. Thank you for your patience and understanding.

Does this mean I was wrongly BANNED?? since it's stated "Your account was actioned incorrectly".
 
if you were on US I'd love to know what you sent them because I was banned for the same thing :p
 
US.......but I am not sure what to do, if I should start botting right the way again.


Not sure what to do, i need am expert ANSWER!!!!!!!! lol.

got this in a mass ban before. 13 accounts were banned. appealed 1 to see what will happen, and got account back too. but i had to send a copy of my ID. in my case i think i botted to many accounts from same IP. Unfortunately, the account that i got back was the only account on my name, so i saved the time to appeal for the others.

i guess, you got an autoban, for whatever reasons, i also geuss there are tons of reasons for autobans, blizz checked your account, and saw, that you are paying, so they want more of your money :)
 
blizzard has systems in place to recognise different IP's than the usual ones that access your account. if this happens, they lock/ban the account and will restore all lost items etc pretty much no questions asked.

from the looks of it, they THINK that your account was accessed by someone other than yourself and have unbanned it. in other words... keep botting :)

thx for the response but the thing is....i didn't log into my account from no other IP's so.....weird.....if you read what they send me....they even sent an apology LOL.
 
yeah why they did it i cant say. but how they are thinking at the moment is that it wasnt you. so just be happy about it and keep botting heh :) you lucked out.
