svwraith: at least on my server (during the months where most of people where playing to beat Deathwing), there was more supply than demand, making prices go under the line of profit - it was better to sell herbs than potions. This because botters like you undercut wildly products, just because it's the same for you to sell lot for low, or even easier. In an AH without bots, this would never happen: alchemists would never sell for that low prices thinking they'd most probably buy the herbs from AH.
I personally sell only the 20-30% of the things I gather and only when the demand is higher to buy not only the cheap, but also the "normal pricing", the rest I take it for myself. I'm not that greedy, and I think it's even safer just not to be banned because of abuse of the economy.
