So my Diablo 3 crashed with a bot running at one point. In my diablo 3 folder I noticed this. InspectorReporter folder. Open it to Reported bugs and BlizzardError.exe. In reported bugs folder was a date time stamp folder inside that folder was 4 files one with the name D3Debug.txt this file contained about 4 hours of txt stamps leading up to what I expect was the crash. I am curious to know what other people see in such files of theirs. At the end of mine it had a list of all running programs as well as a memory dump. And if anyone smarter than I sees anything in these files to be concerned about. I am not honesty trying to scare anyone I just like to know what people think. Or if there is somehow a way to turn off error reporting.

Yeah they will investigate every account that gets an error/crash. More likely they scan IP over here to investigate your D3 account. It's scary man..

I guess you can block the report sender in your firewall?

At least I've blocked mine.

Not sure where you see that it lists programs run. If it does somewhere in that huge ass text file then it's missing DB. It's my understanding that they can do a scan of your computer like that anyway. If you do a search for "Buddy" in that text file you will find nothing.

Lots of people have crashes due to hardware issues/incompatibility, minimum system specs, etc. I don't see how these error reports are incriminating.

Yeah they will investigate every account that gets an error/crash

.......

dont think so somehow

tbh he has a fair point, as i just started botting few days ago and NEVER had a crash before... Now i'm getting this same thing and my laptop is way over specs of d3(i'm botting only 1 account)
just heads up, if you didnt put d3 in windowed mode this might be a reason for a lot of the crashes at least that was the problem for me...

Blocked it a few days ago, sure they won`t look around for these logs however when investigating a account they might look at it.

can u please tell me how to block the message in windows firewall.. or do i need another firewall prog. ?

Just delete the entire folder, InspectorReporter... problem solved.

wouldnt it recreate the folder once another crash occurs?

Ofcourse they investigate every crash! Also they ban you for posting your items and surfing for gayporn in the internet

yum troll food is it wow.. oh now this is d3...

o k, first off if you heavily inspect the inspector log you will find it shows no process outside of windows normal procs and d3. Because that's all they are allowed to look at. (at that they shouldn't be allowed that either)

Scenario, you send 15-45+ error reports in 3 days... probably going to get a yellow flag there perhaps lol.

BLOCKING THESE REPORTS
Easiest way I have found and to be as little effort as possible is using win7 and the free 'windows 7 firewall control' easy to google this.
It's easy to edit with this firewall control if you for example block all your googling, and can't surf, Load it from task bar and Edit [enable all] on google.
You will make sense of this program quickly.

note: I would never change a file name or delete a folder within d3. (super cautious)

Anyone running WIN 8 find out how to block this without deleting the file? I don't see it anywhere in the default win 8 editor. Also, apparently the WIN 8 firewall control is an awful piece of software, so I didn't even try it.

Error reporting is pretty common place for software developers.

This looks like a tin foil hat factory. Think of how many of these they must get in a day. If anything, they're for reference when investigating bug reports. I highly doubt that they go through these on an individual account basis.

I'm going strong hundreds of hours into a 24/7 bot. I think it's more about what profiles you used to level (if any.. by hand is best) and it also will get flagged easy if you run multiple bots on one hardware id (no vmware)

They use bots to do the datamining for flag, obviously.
If anything, these reports would contain lots of info that would at least in the earlier days get you banned if you were doing either core or zark due to repeativiness.
