Only 10 years + in the making, still getting those "unexpected delays"
 
Maybe Jay is the only real person making this game, and all others are fictional made up by Blizzard accountants to cheat on taxes. Otherwise i cant see how they can spend 10 years on making simple 2D game and even then release it half-finished.

blizzard north may have started the idea for d3 in 2001 but cmon that was not development (expansion for d2 was released that year, they were BUSY). Development did not start till 2005 and by a new group of people. Wiki is not always right nor contains all the info.

back on topic: who didnt see this coming? and if you didn't never ever invest in the stock market or play poker.

The curiousity I have... is that given how much time this game was in development for, and how much QA testing it must have gone through post-launch...

Man, how bad was it BEFORE launch?

I suspect that there's a manpower vacuum for the D3 Dev Team, probably shipped off to "Call of Duty" franchise, if rumors were true.
