While a few of the posts here appear to be dripping with the sweet nectar of well-honed internet sarcasm, I did want to jump in really quickly to say that while patch 1.0.6 was a only minor patch for Diablo III, it was a necessary one that helped us address some important bug fixes as well as implemented the ground work for upcoming improvements to Battle.net.

Patch 1.0.7 is planned to be a larger patch than 1.0.6, and will contain much more than just bug fixes. Many of the changes we've discussed in these forums recently are currently scheduled for 1.0.7, and we are looking forward to sharing more details with you concerning it in the coming weeks.

We?re not quite to the point where we?re prepared to delve into the details surrounding patch 1.0.7 and what?s being included just yet. We?re still busy working behind the scenes on a variety of changes, and we want to ensure which changes will be making it into patch 1.0.7 before we formally announce anything.

Anyone expecting PvP this year was delusional, I'd be surprised if it was in before Summer 2013.

PvP will probably be released autumn 2013 and the new expansion pack will be released autumn 2014.

Ironically they sure like to share on their Amazon product page that it supports PVP; pretty pathetic false advertising there. If it's dropping in 1.1, then at this rate it will probably land around March or April with how slow they have been releasing patches. Seems like one patch a month or so?

PvP was 50% of the reason I bought this game, it was the only reason to play D2, pvp and cow runs all day. What garbage, no wonder everyone quits/is botting -_- this is the first time that I can think of that Blizzard dropped the ball and released an unfinished product that's been in the making for so fucking long. At least when games like WC3 were released (2 years after they were supposed to) they raped asshole.

Jay Wilson saying they are gonna update the pvp blog "soon" on twitter is the closest evidence to when pvp is coming out. Those blues didn't even address pvp. They add pvp content every patch. They could completely add it next week in an average patch if they wanted to. I see news or ptr at the end of the year and release first quarter 2013.
