Diablo: IncGamers ? The Unofficial Diablo 3 Site News and Forums ? World?s First Paragon Level 100

A team of players have been taking turns powering up ?Alkaizer,?...

Account sharing FTW to reach Paragon Level 100.

Note: I'm not the author of the article, I'm just merely relinking it. No way for me to verify the authenticity of the author's claim.
So if you guys are unhappy about it, you can contact the author and voice out your views at Diablo: IncGamers – The Unofficial Diablo 3 Site News and Forums ? Flux.

I like how you conclude that if someone/a corporation doesn't react to something, it has to mean they encourage it.

I like how someone thinks a totally legit player is a cheater/hacker/botter. I know for a fact that he is legit.

Not to mention, blizzard does act against cheater/hacker/botters when they can catch them. So if Alkaizer was a shared account they would know and have closed it. Now before you argue, think about this: Blizzard made the paragon system to extend the lifetime of the game, they don't want people to be beating it already so they've probably ran EVERY SINGLE check on Alkaizer's account they could.

Edit; Further Explanation:

There is a class of gamers called "Hardcore" or "Elite" gamers, they are willing to do things that are unimaginable (but quite legit) that a casual or general gamer could not even believe. Alkaizer is part of the Hardcore.

Where is the proof that he was account sharing?

Why is it so hard for people to believe that out of all the D3 players in the entire world there is one who is just crazy enough to do something like this? A single person IS capable of playing 18 hours a day if they are driven, jobless and don't care much about their health. It was bound to happen.

It was one dude.. He was streaming a good chunk of it..

Calm down and listen thanks.

How would they know if the guy didn't share the account in this case it could be his family members or roomates =-= so it's same ip and pc possibly impossible for blizz to know

If you can't handle people calling you out then don't go around spreading rumors. Just because you aren't the one who started it doesn't mean you can spread it with impunity.

Assuming 0 cheats were used, it would be very hard, if not impossible to prove the account was "shared". Furthermore, what exactly constitutes sharing? Say I log in and start playing till I pass out, then my brother tosses me out of the chair and continues playing. Without pictures, how could they prove that? More importantly should they even try? What's next a dress code while playing?

For such an inflammatory topic title, you sure don't provide a lot of evidence. And before you say 'it's what the author claimed, not me', you went far beyond what that article said.

By "Hardcore" and "elite" u mean people with no life?

I was referring to the topic title you wrote yourself, not the article.

My arse you know for a fact, he only starts streaming when he gets to the last 3 levels, he stayed logged in for over 12 hours on consecutive days and had a 15 level lead on the person below him. No normal person can keep that up, he either a bot or account sharing FACT.

The amount of playtime he gathered during his run from 1 to 100 Paragon is humanly not possible I repeat its not possible you can not play 20 hours straight for several days let alone more then a week. Pretty sure he shared the account and no they cant catch you if you do it with real-life friends on college campus letting your friends use YOUR ISP & PC. That way blizzard won't have any hard evidence against you but they will still know you shared your account. Why wont they act against it? Quit simple because it could turn into a PR nightmare.

It is, in fact possible. Maybe if it took months I'd say bullshit, but a little over two weeks is short enough to survive on minimal sleep. Most people can't or wouldn't do it, but out of the millions of D3 players, it would surprise me if there wasn't someone crazy/dedicated enough to do this. I'm not saying he actually did play all of it, but saying that it's impossible for him to have done so is incorrect.

I'm just amused by the irony of a thread complaining about someone using illegitimate means to get ahead, on a botting forum.

Why would you assume I'm complaining about account sharing I don't really give a shit how he got to 100 just stating that its very unlikely that he did it without sharing.. I mean would be silly to complain when I've reached 80 myself with 24/7 botting past 10 days.
