Likelihood of staying banned after an appeal?

Not really an accurate description on whether or not you'll actually STILL be banned after appealing, but I find it quite amusing that after a perma-ban, they would re-activate your account after this weak attempt. It slso makes me believe that un-banning isn't automated.

I will also say that I can not confirm that this truly happened, but looks legit to me.

Well you could ask them on a legal stand why they have an appeal systemif they fail to look at it objective and re-reviewing your case.
