Hi everyone, Im looking for plugin which can detect whenever GM teleports your toon, it could log out your toon for 5-10mins or smth like this.
Thx

there isnt one, because 1. it would be impossible to test. 2. its impossbile to setup triggers for since you dont know if he could teleport you 5 feet or 500 yards, and every gm is going to do it different.

not really CnG. is quiet possible.
if your botting and standing in 1 spot on 1 continent, it could be REALLY easy.

what about quests that teleport you around? or plugins that are designed to move you all over the place? like professionbuddy, i had that thing setup to port from uldum and stormwind and back. theres no way to tell legitimate stuff from a gm messing around with you.

and every gm is going to do it different.
Some time ago within pirox old board two users were able to watch the gms porting their toons.
The GMs haven't portet the users 5 feet or 500 yards they portet them to a house or tent;
a place where the bot got stucked.

After some time the gms asked the players if they have seen something stranged. If the player hasn't seen something
or hasn't seen the port hey got banned for 3th party. If he has reported about the port they gms said something about
"you had a good luck, but be carefull the nexted time" ^^

But I think this time is over because honorbuddy should be able to generate a new way out of the buildung
(pvptool wasn't abe to handle the new route but was able to react on getting stact... Well it couldn't be testet and it was sometimes verry buggy) xD

what about quests that teleport you around? [..] to port from uldum and stormwind and back.
Pirox had a easy solution for this ^^ he disabled the port detection before using a portal. Some seconds after the usage he enabled it again.
But I don't know if a Plugin could "know" what other plugins would do without getting a notification from thes plugins.

CodenameG, you know honorbuddy much better than all users. A waypoint Bot has problems when he get ported to a area where he stucks.
I think honorbuddy would be able to generate a way out of the building thanks to his match system?
Do you think it it could ? I know this could not be tested due whe haven't a gm to teleport us ^^ Thisfore I ask you for your gut feeling

no, theres no way for a plugin to sit and monitor what other code is doing.

if its so easy then do it swiny, obviously people want it, im sure it cant be done, (not without causing false positives all over the place).

not only that, but if a GM is messing with you, logging out isnt going to stop him from looking at your history at what youve been doing, at least if you could catch it, you COULD talk to him, but just logging out is a clear way of confirming what he/she already knew. if honorbuddy gets teleported theres a good chance its going to be able to get to where it was before, or not generate a path and stand there. it shouldn't be spamming around.

The server I play GM sometimes makes this sort of bot detection in Uldum, teleports you into the Obelisk and then looks for reaction.
According to wowhead there are a lot of triggers for teleportation in game and mechanic of process is the same, if I right understand mage`s Blink, fish-mob (sry, forgot its name)
in Vaishir that bites and pulls you for a few yards are the same to GM`s teleportation.
Unfortunately, I have no coding skills at all. If it possible to make simple plugin which could check if you was teleported
(like whisper, death etc. check in LogMeOut plugin for example).
Players may activate it on GB2 farming and dont use it while questing and so on.
Thx

RIght, this is what I would do, if you just doing stuff like fishing or gathering etc

Create a timer to call every second
If not in bg or instance or what ever else
Check if your xy > threshhold ( 50 ft ) to last second check say

If > xx you got a issue else put your xy in the last used vars

Being 50 ft it would b hard to move 50 ft normally or what ever you set it to

Actually, I don't see a reason for false positives.

If the bot is nowhere near a legitimate portal, and did not initiate a teleport or did not interact with a teleport-capable npc, the list of which can be found on wowhead, then it's a GM teleport, therefore stop in one place and Hearth or try to find your way back, if a path can be generated.

Hearthstone will be a bright idea for cases when the GM will port you into a closed room with no doors and most bots will log off where a player would use his Hearth and get out, thus making it more natural.
