Hello! I am looking to build a computer that will run atleast 10 vmware clients with a bot in each client. I have an i7 920 that I think could be up to the task - and I need some help deciding on a few things.
i7 920 has 4 cores with HT, so it should be able to run a few bots, or am I completely wrong in this area?
I currently have 6gb RAM, so I'm assuming that some more will be necessary - how much more?
What kind of graphics card is necessary to run the amount of bots you think my CPU can handle?
I have an old 5870 right now, is it any good for this?
I am looking into a vmware setup because I've read that you can have different mac-adresses to each account, aswell as masking them through an *** tunnel above this. I am really looking for a safe setup, rather than the possibility of a week or two boom ban on all accounts on one PC.
How many instances of vmware is good for this? Is the only thing holding me back perhaps more RAM?
