Is it possible to level up with GB?

If so, where can i download the profiles.

Yes, you can level with GB... You can level through professions now. If you want to "level with GB" look in the profiles section on the main forums.
 
I was wondering actually as i'm levelling a dk if it would be faster/ as fast to level only with mining and herbs ? which is to me a lot a lot less conspicuous. Anyone has tried? He's level 70 now

Less conspicuous is a way yes. If we are correct with the theory that Blizz looks at how much a character grinds as compared to quests, this is also attached to "So many nodes per day (or week) gets a red flag on account".
Kinda depends on what you want to do really. Most likely it'll be noticeably slower leveling, but you wont take the risk of running into too many players, and at least on my server hardly anybody farms the old world nodes.
Something to look into.
 
Also all depends on the level of your DK. I.E I went from 80-83 on my DK in a couple of days Strictly doing Cata herbs. So I made about 50k gold give or take and also got my DK leveled :).
 
I did 80-82 in sholozar at first while GB was still buggy (cata release) then I did 81-85 (some toons didnt hit 82) once hyjal farming was more stable.. 450-525 hyjal too. I'm leveling a new DK and trying to do cobalt at 69 but sometimes get 3-4 adds (ouch) but I think should be fast.. thinking hyjal at 78 as a DK.

the 80-85 leveling mentioned was done on both herb and mining toons (4 of them, 1 warrior 1 dk 1 mage 1 shaman), the dk made it to 85 in full wrathful with very little deaths.. defiantely best char to use for farming. the mage needed the most help, warrior was pretty good once i went to fury from arms and messed with macros a bit, shaman was good once i threw in healing surge for one of the macros. DK FTW imho.

Leveling a tauren druid now too, see how that goes. If I can get back my banned shaman farmer, I'm using this new DK I'm leveling to replace my mage, dies way too much in full crafted resilience 85 gear all 85 blues.. and only in hyjal too!
 
I very very very highly doubt that Blizzard tracks who grinds more than quests. The sheer amount of players in WoW would make that a horrendous task.
 
I'm still a firm believer in the fact that none of us truly know the method behind their madness. Who knows? Maybe it's all reports. Maybe it's the red flag that shoots when someone is on for way too long. Maybe it's the amount of nodes. Maybe it's routes. Maybe they have a retina scan server to check for consistenticies and this and that. Truth is we never know. Theories will only make you more paranoid but the fact is the more you bot the more you risk. The only true way to reduce the risk is to simply not bot at all. Seems like we're all gamblers here though so might as well sit back and enjoy it for now. Some people are banned in a day and those of us that are lucky enough have never been banned. It's all situational, timing based, and pure luck.
 
yes as you say: Hell we don't know and as the new oxbow advert goes : "sometimes you have to FACE IT "!

Yet if you don't mind to get back to my question which wasn't clear enough. I have already leveleed my toon grom 80-85 only by farming plants and mines: it works just delete the old balcknode list from time to time.

My question was more from let's say 70 to 80 ? Has anyone tried that? If not I'll have to and tell you what xp rate I get:) Because with honorbuddy that mount a terrestrial mount this is so F*** conspicuous! When will the flying plugins that rock come out?
 
I'm trying 70-80 now with cobalt on a blood DK but i still die a decent amount..

I'm doing the exact same thing and die a lot as well. I'll now try to level as much as possible using Outland profiles until a decent enough level for Northrend. 69 doesn't seem to be enough.
 
as I mentionned I said I'd try but actually I HBed my way up to level 74 and then switched to levelling up professions. So if this may be of some information for some:

at level 75 scholazar : i do around 250kxp/h which seems ok. I don't think I did more on HB

and with those I've had more success.. my DK is 70 and almost 71 now, I've got him in every blue i could find and a few epics (69-70 level lol).. got this badass epic nethereum axe with 3 sockets.. but anyway the change for me was that post, the editor put in a key 7 macro so that really helped out a lot and i havent had any problems yet..

my druid is about to ding 60 and going to cross my fingers it goes well for him too as feral herbing in outland.
 
I feel like I should try saronite at 71.. I'm doing cobalt but its terribly slow I feel like I've gotten 2 bubbles of XP in the last 12 hours.. doing howling fjord and says 95 nodes in 4 hours.. ouch. I want to try borean but i kept finding him afk above the sholozar basin repair and didntk now how to get back.. hmmph

I've been using those macros the whole time. As you can see I've also translated them into German in that thread some time ago. The problem is that you've got a far too big aggro range with level 70. Sometimes your toon just tries to mine ores surrounded by 3+ mobs. With level ~70 it of course pulls every single one of them.
What helped me was removing the "Blood Boil" spell because especially in Howling Fjord I've experienced numerous times that some neutral mobs came along, my DK uses Blood Boil and pulls 5 more mobs with that spell.
Might get better in a few levels.

I hit 78 on my blood DK and took him to hyjal, I put him on the same badnode/profile as my 85 dk that farms 24/7, and for some reason GB is skipping nodes with mobs around them, any way to fix this? I want to see it actually fight the mob, but it says in console "mob here, xxxx health, skipping node".. so i might go back to saronite until 80
