Leveling now-a-days

Hey guys,

I have been out the game for a while, I wanted to know what things have changed pertaining to leveling via HB. I know kickass has done an amazing job with the profiles. My question to you is the following:

How would you level your fresh toon? - Questing, Dungeons, a mixture of both or something diff.

What plugins would you recommend?

How much time would you let it run per day?

I know everyone will have a different opinion, as some of us are more conservative than others. Some of us also have more to lose. I am only looking to get a general idea. My main focus would be to allow me to walk away for at least a couple of hours.

don't bot dungeons its obvious your a bot, just turn on the standard free questing pack from the store and sit back and relax

I pretty much level all of my toons through questing, the profiles are simply amazing and I believe it seems more "natural". For a fresh level 1 toon I would definetely use the questing pack and maybe if you wanted through in some dungeon runs once for the quests as they give good XP the first time.

I guess it also depends on what this toon will be or mean to you. I always like to run the dungeon at least once for the completionist side in me.

The default questing pack is the best way to go.

EchoTiger has been in charge of them for the past 6months or so, and he has been absolutely steamrolling the bugs out.

I've done several 1-100s and there's hardly any bugs at all.
He also just added a new Auto-Loader which is simply amazing because it has built in universal navigation support.

Guys thank you very much for the info. I did not know that we had someone dedicated to keep those files bug free. Any plug ins that you would recommend?

The default questing pack is heavily maintained - nearly 24/7 I have testers going from 1 to 100 - fixing any bug that stops them or making improvements where quests are slow.

For 1-100 questing, I wouldn't recommend any changes to the bot.
Use Singular with no plugins or changes. Any third-party additions could just potentially cause errors.

You may want to use a relogger such as ARelog to keep your bots online in case they do get stuck or some freak bug occurs which causes a disconnect.

IT SHOWS, I setup HBRelog and come back to toons at 100 farming treasures in Draenor lol.

I'm not entirely sure with no Heirlooms.
But I know full Heirlooms can be around 65hours average.

Right now I have 3 characters going from 1 to 100.
2 Horde, 1 Alliance.

One of the Horde has full heirlooms.
The other Horde and the Alliance doesn't.
I'll see what their numbers are once they finish but they are running with "Checkpoint" mode turned off - so they're doing absolutely every quest.
Given that, their completion time will be a bit higher.
