Hi there,
the swtor exploit has been fixed and most of the exploited currency confiscated.
That means that we should update the prices accordingly.
Since 4.0 patch, most of the farmers are making 1/3 than they used to make , and before 4.0 the price was stable at ~2$ . Some farmers might make more, but we're talking about the majority, not a few ones that are using ah, or farming areas that didn't got nerfed.
We should be able to raise it to 4$ per m easily, maybe more.
With that in mind please adjust your prices for swtor.

For a few days most likely we won't get orders... it will be a big difference for buyers... from 0.7$ per m to 4$ per m, but in the long run it will be a lot better for us . Also exploiters have been suspended 3-7 days. and a lot of ppl exploited... so for a week we won't get orders as before because ppl can't login ingame. but once their in, and they will notice that they are bankrupt again... they will start buying.

So please raise your price to 4-5$ per m. There will be demand, but there won't be enough supply in the following weeks, so we will be able to adjust the prices.
Stop selling for a crappy 1-2$ per m, the buyers/resellers will raise the price if most of the big farmers will ask for more. They will have to, or they won't be able to fill the orders

Most likely there will be farmers trying to dump their credits with any price, but screw them, if the majority of the farmers will raise the price, the buyers will adapt.

I have tried to get these guys to do that for years. They will just yell at you and sell for the cheapest possible price anyways.

All everyone has to do is hold credits and not sell for a couple of weeks and the price will be back to good prices. As of now with farming being mostly reduced by half the price should be almost double what it was before the patch. So $4 - 5/m is pretty much where it should settle.

Edit: While everyone is looking at this post, never sell your gold to a gold seller for less than 33% less than what they are selling for. It is an easy way to know how much credits are worth. I have sold for this price for almost 5 years and have always sold out my stock.

Goldseller price x .67 = Your price.

wasted time until there are resellers who sell for profit 0.1

useless to try to control the price.

surely there who make lower price and even more low. so the war for the sale of gold / credits will be the same.

$4-5/m you mean the market price or what other resellers pay you?
My prediction is that market price will go to around $3-4/m and others will pay you around $2/m. Thats the price that was before the patch. Won't go higher. I doubt it.

You guys have people buying your credits at 3-4/m? I most have bought a ton of credits from someone who was using the exploit because I am paying 1.2/m from him and hits price is still the same after the patch.

Agree 2, in one day my best buyer changed from 0,7 to 1,1 $/m. alexio is also right, control the price its quite difficult, but 0,7$ per million its only profitable if you are using the exploit.

Im confortable making my pile bigger, and we can expect and increase of players in the near future (movie), so with more players will come more sales, that will rise the price...

Theories... handle with caution :)

Seems they didnt ban all the credits from the exploit so dont get your hopes up, prices will be messed up for a long long time

in my guild 7 players we get banned but we added credits on GB we have 3 ops teams we use guild repair and everything so on and bank have credits like before 945 millions maybe this save credits for us

On reddit there is a guy with 7 billion after the ban. So expect it to last long...

^ Seriously.

Hundreds of billions, and maybe even trillions of credits went into the system and anyone with half a brain was able to keep them.

7b is nothing (he can sell this in a month) compared to what exploiters made and what is left of them (Bioware probably didn't ban all). Possibly trillions of credits still in the economy since the exploit. But at least the credits in the game are not rising as much as with the last exploit did.

Meh makes You wonder how bioware checks everything... They do not.
I'm still getting more and more the feeling that we are dealing with a noobish company. Hell rumors are singing this wasn't the swtor 2 in patch 4, but that they are holding out for v2 around 2017... Still the raid designer also jumped ship and went on to mass effect.
