lets change topic a bit.. How do you veterans like d3 compared to d2?

So just kinda asking, are you playing/botting d3 for the funz or simply out of ?? need?

and how do you feel about d3 compared to d2?? in terms of normal play and in terms of botting?


personally i m kinda dissapointed in d3.. reasons could be found in the official d3 forums lol...

but what makes me lol a bit is ... that even BOTTING is not as much fun as in d2.. lol


while in d2 every new morning waking up was like christmas unwrapping presents..

in d3 its like every day meh....

agree, i had 2 bots running in d2 (although past its hey day, around 2010) but played d2 since its release (at older brothers house) then finally started playing at 1.10 forward.

D3 was supposed to be bigger, a huge world to explore, with more items, more bosses, maybe even more players. Then it was releaseld, 4 players, smaller levels, no randomness, watered down and a huge disappointment. The diablo name sold d3, and alot left since then, i don't think diablo3 will ever re-coop the players they lost since opening day. And gold will never hit as much as it did.

Only saving grace of d3 is greed, at first i hated it but now i like it, cause we get to make money off of it, thats about it

It makes you laugh out loud that botting isnt as fun in D3 as it was in D2?

To be honest; I botted for only 2.5 weeks before I got banned, but got some really good stuff. Had for €500,- in the RMAH, so its a shame Blizzard got me at the moment they did
Not really trusting DB right now, but when the storm has cleared a bit, Ill give it a go again.

They make it far too difficult to find items for you characters (I think the larger amount of infinities screwed this game) and made the majority of legendary items are complete fucking garbage. They're still failing on balancing progression, they're way too slow when it comes to implementation overall, and they ruined the game by taking the trade out if it (granted I do love making $$ off of RMAH). Item hunting in the trade games were a blast.

I do not like that when I select "public quest" I cannot search for games, they place me in them. Additionally, I cannot join games or host games if I make a game with MP levels. Blizz. south fucked the Diablo franchise, IMO.

D2 is still an epic game .
if they would have told me they are about to make a new d2 expansion (and i know the community will get bigger again) i will sell d3 and go back to D2 . not that im playing D3 that much ...

The only advantage on D3 over D2, is probably the graphics, and they aren't great. D3 Lacks everything you want in a game.

They only put in the essentials to maximize their personal profit. Hell, they started shutting down the game quick and have "emergency maintenance" starting out to make sure to have RMAH ready as soon as possible. They made their mass profits riding off of the coat tails of D2. Pull in the sales, maximize RMAH profits, and then not give a fuck about the game anymore.
