We as HB users will never know what's going on in the background... Ever

This is a good thing because we know 100% blizzard using HB licenses to help detect HB (boss land are taking them to the lawyers over it as we speak).


So when you think boss land are holding back information from you... Just think it's not you it's the potential blizzard engineers they are keeping out the loop and as a HB user wewant this :)


Let them do there thing if it's 24 hours or 2 weeks - it's exactly the about of time they need to clear us.

Hell they might come back one day saying at this time we can offer a safe solution.. Rather that then 50k of accounts banned


I strongly advise sitting tight- keep away from other bots... They have a habbit of using HB downtime to draw users to them.....I think we can safe to assume if HB is tripping then the other bots are too..
 
agreed, take your time for sure! i love this bot, i suck without it in pvp so kinda need it to have fun :P

I wouldn't go as far as a fanboy :) Ive had my gripes with the HB team - Just ask Tony..

However I am impressed to see the trip wire actually working (if in fact that's what happen).

I was disappointed to learn the tripwire tool was not working correctly from the last ban wave- so to see this has pleased me
 
I can't tell for sure if you're the last iteration of the Hb White knight; but reading through your last hundreds of posts, you certainly sound like one, man.

We all want HB to succeed and start being safe again. Everybody. But "sitting tight" is not gonna make it.

And your point is, after 2 massive banwaves, that seeing tripwire kind of work is good.

You are the perfect customer, incredibly lenient. Either that, or you have developer interest, be it in profiles, plugins, or whatever. Pretty bad in both cases, imho.
 
At least it proves tripwire is working!

I would prefer the tripwire to be working or at least it's working as intended instead of "oh we forgot to turn tripwire on sorry to the folks that got banned during the banwave"

Absolutely!

I just happen to find that ban-theory extremely convenient for Hb.

And being quite cynical myself, I am distrustful of short explanations that kind of take heat off those who are giving them.

I did not want to enter before the "its good to not give explanations cause blizzard engineers" reasoning because it was laughable to me, and I don't intend to disrespect anyone.

But, seriously speaking, if someone thinks that a company like blizzard has any sort of problem reversing code, creating 1 million alternate ways to check the code or even paying tenfold the 250k fine that was claimed by BL in compensation, they really are out of touch with reality.

You know... ASSUMPTION is the TMOAFU? Stop making sh*t up! Although I do agree on giving HB plenty of time to test and make sure we are good!

Absolutely nothing made up there... Everything in my post is backed up via post on this forum VIA bossland them self.. I have even linked the posts.

But anyhow.

And yet I was running another bot at the exact same time, on another account when Tripwire went off. HB is down, and the other one is still going strong. The other one didn't even hiccup when HB shut down. Sure, there might be a ban later down the road, but for now it's going strong on my farming account.

However, I do hope that HB is up and running soon as this other one is very "bottish" and I have to babysit the hell outta it.
