[Legion] Plugin for using Emmarel's Assault

I didn't give up on you! I have what I believe to be a working version. I have used it in a few scenarios and it casts my DH ability which is also a Ground cast spell.I need to know which others are ground cast as well as right now just the Hunter and Demon Hunter I have done ground casting until I hear otherwise. I also updated most of the other abilities to what I believe to be the correct ID now. It will still take testing from others to see if it works right.

Edit: 1 caveat. The way it is designed, it has to be Enabled before you hit Bot Start. If you disable it before you stop the bot, it will remove it, but it will only set the hook if it is enabled and then the bot starts.

Awesome! It actually works! +1

My only gripe is that it casts the ability as soon as I enter combat which is a problem because the AoE effect is cast where the mob is before it is pulled closer to me. As a ranged class this is a big problem but I'm sure it works great for melee classes that have an AoE champion ability.

Really appreciate your work man, a lot of devs here give up after the first page so thanks for sticking with it.

I can change ranged classes and do X mobs within 8yd of current target. So if it is set to 3 and there are 2 mob in range of current target then use? Does that sound right?

I can also pause for x seconds after "triggered" or x yards. Just need to know the the desired use is.

A combination of waiting x seconds after combat and then casting on "all tapped mobs within X yards of current target" sounds like it would work better for my particular use. Ideally I would like it to wait X seconds after combat is initiated and then cast at the target once my pet has aggroed it in place. Somewhere in the 3-10 second range would do the trick I think. I'm not sure how big of an area 8yd is in-game but I think a shorter radius would be best to make sure the mobs are stacked.

8 yards is the typical size of melee range.

I can just do 2 different settings, one for Ranged classes and one for Melee classes (they are already split in the code anyway). I'll add a config setting for wait X seconds after combat is initiated and X yards from current target. Just so you know, there really aren't "tapped targets" anymore, best I can tell. It's pretty much "anything that is targeting me, my pets, or my allies" is considered "tapped" with the new changes to wow.

I haven't forgotten about this. Here's what I am going to do:

For Melee:
Any ability that has AoE potential will be all mobs 8 yards from "Me" (the player).
Any ability without AoE potential will be cast based on settings and/or on cooldown.

For Ranged:
Any ability that has AoE potential will be all mobs 8 yards from "CurrentTarget" (your active enemy).
Any ability without AoE potential will be cast based on settings and/or on cooldown.

For both:
I added a "Combat Timer" that will start to tick as soon as you enter combat and will cease to tick when you leave combat. You can go into settings and change it (5000 ms by default) to whatever value you want. So in addition to the above change, you can add this as well. If you want NO timer, set it to 0 and it'll use like there is no timer.

One thing about this though is that let's say it uses this correct on Mob #1. 5 seconds after the pull, it gets 3 mobs in range and uses it. Then it loots and starts to pull Mob #2. Mob #2 has 2 other mobs near it, to activate the ability. The ability you have let's say has 15 seconds left until it's up. All 3 mobs get down to 10% hp and since it casts X milliseconds after combat is initiated, it will use it once it is available.

I have some testing to do with my DH, but after that I'll throw it up here and see if you want to try it out.

Any update on this?

there is a lot of debug logging right now in this. If you see any issues, please describe them and attach a log and it'll help me figure it out. There is a settings form that allows you to specify how long you have been in combat before it uses it.

Do I assume that no news is good news? If you think it seems OK, I may start a new thread for it under Combat routines so it's easier for people to find.

Anyone verify if this works right for them? Only have a Druid and DH and both seemed to work for me.

This works for my pally, but there's a slight issue when using 'Mother's Caress' on my DH it seems. It uses the spell, but then wont click the ground to use the AOE effect, so it just sits there spamming the spell.

In all scenarios? I have a DH and it seems to work for me. If the location can't use it (due to terrain of where the guy is standing) then maybe I can blacklist the plugin for a set amount of time to continue on.

isn't working with titans wrath. ufa doesn't detect that i have it
A clean log file would allow me to determine what the issue is. Without that, I have no clue. I don't have a warrior. I only have a Druid and a DH, so those are the only 2 I can test.
